Hapoel Acre ( he, הפועל עכו) was an Israeli women's football club from Acre, who competed in the Israeli Second Division and the Israeli Women's Cup. The club existed for one season only before folding. History The club was established in 2010 and joined Ligat Nashim, entering in the second division. The club won its first match, a 3–0 victory against F.C. Kiryat Gat, but lost all its other matches in the league, scoring only 9 goals more and conceding 129 goals, finishing bottom. Kiryat Bialik
Kiryat Bialik ( he, קִרְייַת בְּיַאלִיק, also Qiryat Bialik) is a city in the Haifa District in Israel. It is one of the five Krayot suburbs to the north of Haifa. In it had a population of . The city was named after the poet Hayim Nahman Bialik. History In 1924, Ephraim and Sabina Katz, who aliyah, immigrated from Romania, were the first Jews to settle in the Zevulun Valley in Haifa Bay. Their farm was destroyed in the 1929 Palestine riots. The one house that survived the riots, Beit Katz, was bequeathed to Kiryat Bialik in 1959 and designated for public use. The town of Kiryat Bialik was established in July 1934 by a group of German Jewish immigrants who received a plot of land from the Jewish National Fund. The 2010–11 Ligat Nashim was the 13th season of women's league football under the Israeli Football Association. The league was won by ASA Tel Aviv University, its second consecutive title and third overall. By winning, ASA Tel Aviv qualified to 2011–12 UEFA Women's Champions League. The Israeli Women's Cup ( he, גביע המדינה נשים, ''Gvia HaMedina Nashim'') is the annual knock-out tournament of women's football teams in Israel. It is equivalent to the men's Israel State Cup, and organized by the Israel Football Association (IFA). Its first season was played in 1998–99. Maccabi Holon had won the most titles, winning for the ninth time in 2012–13.
