Hao Wei
Hao Wei (; ; born 27 December 1976) is a Chinese football coach and former international Association football, footballer. He is the manager of the Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng Taishan F.C., Shandong Luneng. Player career Club career As with many of the most promising youth players from China, Hao Wei was sent to Brazil for a training programme sponsored by Jianlibao in 1997 with fellow youth prospects Li Tie and Zhang Xiaorui. When he returned to start his professional football career he would join Shandong Luneng in 1998, however he found it difficult to immediately break into the team due to injury, though he was able to play in 11 league games and score 1 goal. It was not until the 1999 league season that Hao Wei would rise to prominence when he established himself as Shandong's first choice right back and help them to a league and cup double. 2015 Algarve Cup
The 2015 Algarve Cup was the 22nd edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational Women's association football, women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It took place on 4–11 March. Format Because of the number of competitive teams this year, the format was changed. Previously Group C teams were unable to get into the final, which was played between Group A and B winners. This year however, the final was played between the two best group winners. Points awarded in the group stage followed the standard formula of three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. Li Tie
Li Tie (; born 18 May 1977) is a Chinese professional football coach and former player. As a player he represented Liaoning FC in the Chinese Jia-A League, Everton in the Premier League, Sheffield United in the Football League Championship and Chengdu Blades in the Chinese Super League. At international level, he made 92 appearances scoring 6 goals for the China national team. After retirement from playing, he started his coaching career as an assistant coach at Guangzhou Evergrande. He moved to the China national team and then Hebei China Fortune where he gained his first coaching position. Football At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's Tournament
The women's football tournament at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held in London and five other cities in the United Kingdom from 25 July to 9 August. Associations affiliated with FIFA were invited to enter their women's teams in regional qualifying competitions, from which 11 teams, plus the hosts Great Britain reached the final tournament. There are no age restrictions for the players participating in the tournament. Miodrag Ješić
Miodrag Ješić ( sr-Cyrl, Миодраг Јешић, ; 30 November 1958 – 8 December 2022) was a Serbian football manager and player. Playing career Born in Osečenica, Ješić played for Partizan between 1974 and 1985, taking part in 342 matches and scoring 81 goals in all competitions. Between 1985 and 1989 he represented Altay SK, where he recorded 136 matches and 29 goals, and finished his career at Trabzonspor in 1989–90 with 37 matches and 9 goals in total. Ješić was immensely disliked amongst the Fenerbahçe supporters because they viewed him as responsible for an injury suffered by Rıdvan Dilmen in 1990 during a league match between Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor. Dilmen never fully recovered despite undergoing sixteen operations, and eventually had to retire in 1995 at Fenerbahçe after painful years of injuries. Zhu Bo
Zhu Bo (; Pinyin: ''Zhū Bō''; ; born on September 24, 1960 in Dalian, Liaoning) is a Chinese football manager and a former international football player. As a player, he was a right-back who represented Bayi Football Team where he won several league titles while captaining his team before ending his career with Shenzhen Feiyada. As a manager, he has coached several clubs within the Chinese football league divisions, which include Hunan Shoking, Yunnan Lijiang Dongba, Nanchang Hengyuan, Changsha Ginde F.C., Shenzhen Fengpeng and Yinchuan Helanshan. The Malaysia national football team () represents Malaysia in international football and is controlled by the Football Association of Malaysia. The national team is recognised by FIFA as the successor of the defunct Malaya national football team which was founded for the 1963 Merdeka Tournament one month before the institution of Malaysia. Sun Jihai
Sun Jihai (; ; born 30 September 1977) is a Chinese former footballer who played in the English Premier League. He is one of the most well-known footballers in China. He was the first East Asian footballer to score in the Premier League when he scored a goal for Manchester City in October 2002, and also the first Chinese footballer to score in the UEFA Cup. Sun was a member of the Chinese national team that qualified for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the country's only appearance at the World Cup. Xu Yunlong
Xu Yunlong (; born 17 February 1979) is a Chinese former footballer who played as a defender for Beijing Guoan and China national team. Club career Xu Yunlong started his football career with Beijing Guoan in the 1999 season, making thirteen league appearances and quickly established himself as a versatile player. By the following season, he continued to gain considerably more playing time for Beijing and would often be used as a right back where his pace was quickly exploited; however, after several seasons, he played increasingly more at centre back and become an integral member of the club's defense. The 2000 AFC Asian Cup was the 12th edition of the men's AFC Asian Cup, a quadrennial international association football, football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The finals were held in Lebanon between 12 and 29 October 2000. Japan national football team, Japan defeated defending champion Saudi Arabia national football team, Saudi Arabia in the final match in Beirut. The Hong Kong national football team () represents Hong Kong in international association football, football and is controlled by the Hong Kong Football Association, the governing body for football in Hong Kong. Hong Kong was the first in Asia to hold the AFC Asian Cup in 1956 and won third place, and was also semi-finalist in 1964. Zhang Shuai (Chinese: 张帅) (born July 20, 1981 in Qingdao, Shandong) is a former Chinese international football player who played his whole career with Beijing Guoan as a versatile right-back or centre-back. Career Early career In 1996 Zhang Shuai would leave home and move to Beijing to start his football career where he would eventually gain a place at the Beijing Guoan youth team and then eventually promotion to their senior team. After breaking into the Beijing squad he would be called up to the Chinese youth team, however his off-the field antics did not go down well with the management especially his nights out clubbing with his teammates, which saw him dropped from the team. Jiao Zhe () is a Chinese football player who currently plays for Beijing Renhe as a right-back. Club career Jiao Zhe started his professional football career in 1999 for top tier side Shandong Luneng after he graduated from their youth team. In the 2001 league season he continued to progress in establishing himself for the Shandong Luneng team where he was firmly established as their first choice right-back by playing in 17 league games, which was followed by a further 28 league games in the 2002 league season.
