Hanus is a human settlement, settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Płaska, within Augustów County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. Hans Herbert Burger (June 4, 1909 Prague – November 13, 1990, Munich), also known as Hanuš Burger, Hans Burger, and Jan Burger, as well as under the pseudonyms Hans Herbert and Petr Hradec, was a theater, film, and television director, playwright and author of books and screenplays, including the documentary film ''Crisis (1939 film), Crisis'' (1939), and the German language version of ''Death Mills'' (1945), supervised by Billy Wilder. Hanus Kamban
Hanus Kamban (born 25 June 1942 in Saltangará, Faroe Islands) is a Faroese short story writer, essayist, biographer and poet. He was born Hanus Andreassen, but changed his last name to Kamban in 2000. Kamban grew up on the small island of Skúvoy and moved to Tórshavn in 1956. He writes about the quite sudden modernisation of the Faroese society post World War II. He published his first short story anthology in 1980, and has translated William Shakespeare, Kafka, Graham Greene and other great writers and poets from other countries to Faroese. From 1994 to 1997 he published a three-volume biography of one of the most important Faroese poets, Janus Djurhuus. It was translated into Danish and published in two volumes in 2001. He was nominated to the Nordic Council's Literature Prize for the first time in 2003 for his short story anthology ''Pílagrímar'' (Pilgrims). Hanus Thorleifsson
Hanus Thorleifsson (born 19 December 1985) is a Faroese footballer, currently a free agent. Previously he played for Skála ÍF, HB Tórshavn, ÍF Fuglafjørður, B36 Tórshavn and Giza Hoyvík. Thorleifsson has been capped for the Faroe Islands national football team at senior and junior level. Club career Thorleifsson begun his professional career with Skála ÍF in 2002. Until 2006 he played in 68 matches and scored 7 goals with the club in the Faroe Islands Premier League. In November 2005 he transferred to B36 Tórshavn. Thorleifsson was in the starting line-up of B36 in the 2006 Faroe Islands Cup final, where his team won the trophy by winning 2–1 versus KÍ. Danielle Franci Hanus (born March 16, 1998) is a Canadian swimmer who competes in the women's freestyle, backstroke, and individual medley competitions. Career She represented Canada at the finished 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, finishing 4th at the 50-metre backstroke, 7th at the 100-metre backstroke, 7th at the 200-metre backstroke and 13th at the 100-metre butterfly. Newmarket native, she also has represented Canada at the 2014 Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and the 2014 Australian Youth tour.
