Fourth cabinet of Per Albin Hansson ( sv, Regeringen Hansson IV) was the cabinet of Sweden between July 31, 1945 and October 6, 1946. It consisted of 16 ministers who were all members of the Social Democratic Party, with party chairman Per Albin Hansson as Prime Minister. Gunnar Sträng
Gunnar Georg Emanuel Sträng (23 December 1906 – 7 March 1992) was a Swedish Social Democratic politician, most known for being Sweden's longest serving minister for finance. Sträng grew up in a working-class family in Lövsta, today a part of Stockholm Municipality. After finishing school he started work as a gardener. In 1927 he joined the local branch of the gardeners' union and was soon elected to the board as secretary. A few years later, in 1932, he was elected as an official to the national union organisation for agricultural workers, with the task of recruiting new members in order to force the employers to consent to collective bargaining. In 1938, he was elected vice chairman of the trade union and the following year he succeeded the chairman. The Kejne affair was a political affair in Sweden in the 1950s. In 1948, Karl-Erik Kejne (1913–60), a Swedish Lutheran pastor, publicly accused groups of gay men of threatening him and making attempts on his life. This occurred after he had tried to put an end to gay prostitution in Stockholm, Sweden. In March 1950, Kejne published a sensationalist article in the newspaper '' Dagens Nyheter'' claiming that the prostitution of underage boys was rampant in the working class districts of Stockholm, being patronised by wealthy and well connected gay men whom the police did not dare arrest. This theme was quickly picked up by several evening papers, and reached the proportions of a witch-hunt. Axel Gjöres (1889–1979) was a Swedish social democrat politician who served in different government posts. He was the minister of supply between 1941 and 1947 and minister of commerce and industry between 1947 and 1948. Early life and education Gjöres was born in Smedjebacken, Dalarna, 1889. In 1905 he joined a social democratic youth club in his hometown. He graduated from Brunnsvik Folk High School in 1909 and attended Stockholm School of Economics between 1917 and 1919.
