Hans Öberg
Hans Andreas "Stöveln" Öberg (21 November 1926 – 9 March 2009) was a Swedish ice hockey and bandy player. He represented his country at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo, winning the bronze medal in the team competition. He also played on the Swedish team that finished fourth in the competition four years later at the 1956 Cortina d'Ampezzo Olympics. He was the brother of future Olympic silver medallist Carl-Göran Öberg. He played club hockey for Gävle Godtemplares IK, with whom he won the Guldpucken award in 1957, a year after his 1952 international teammate Åke Lassas Åke Erik Lassas (21 August 1924 – 16 April 2009) was a Swedish ice hockey player. Gävle
Gävle () is a city in Sweden, the seat of Gävle Municipality and the capital of Gävleborg County. It had 77,586 inhabitants in 2020, which makes it the 13th most populated city in Sweden. It is the oldest city in the historical Norrland (Sweden's Northern Lands), having received its charter in 1446 from Christopher of Bavaria. However, Gävle is far nearer to the greater Stockholm region than it is to most other major settlements in Norrland and has a much milder climate than associated with said region. In recent years, the city has received much international attention due to its large Yule Goat figure made of straw - the Gävle Goat. Guldpucken (''The Golden Puck'') is awarded annually to the ice hockey player of the year in Sweden. It is similar to the NHL's Hart Memorial Trophy. Normally it goes to a player in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), the top-level ice hockey league in Sweden.
