Hans Seierstad
Hans Seierstad (born 5 June 1951) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Oppland during the terms 2001–2005 and 2009–2013. In total he met during 50 days of parliamentary session. From 1999 to 2003, he was the county mayor of Oppland. In 2003 he became mayor of Østre Toten Østre Toten is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Oppland
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway. The two counties had historically been one county that was divided in 1781. Historically, the region was commonly known as "Opplandene". Oppland County Municipality
Oppland County Municipality ( no, Oppland fylkeskommune) was the regional governing administration of the old Oppland county in Norway. The county municipality was established in its most recent form on 1 January 1976 when the law was changed to allow elected county councils in Norway. The county municipality was dissolved on 1 January 2020, when Oppland was merged with the neighboring Hedmark county, creating the new Innlandet county which is led by the Innlandet County Municipality. The administrative seat is located in Lillehammer and the county mayor was Even Aleksander Hagen. Lars Skjølaas
Lars Skjølaas (14 August 1933 – 21 July 2011) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Fluberg and grew up in Hov, and spent his professional career as a managing director. His father Bernt Skjølaas was a longtime mayor. Skjølaas was a member of Søndre Land municipal council, chaired Søndre Land Labour Party, and from 1976 to 1999 he was a member of Oppland county council. Audun Tron
Audun Tron (born 7 March 1945) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. From 1987 to 1999, Tron was the mayor of Lillehammer. As such he played a role in the 1994 Winter Olympics. During the first cabinet Stoltenberg, from 2000 to 2001, Tron was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government.
