Hans Kalb
Hans Kalb (3 August 1899 – 5 April 1945) was a German international footballer. International career The 1. FC Nürnberg player won 15 caps (two goals) for Germany. Kalb was sent off in the match against Uruguay at the 1928 Olympic Games for a deliberate foul against Uruguayan goal scorer Pedro Petrone. Uruguay won the game 4-1, and Kalb received a one year ban from the German Football Association, which ended his international career. Personal life In the First World War he served as an artilleryman in the German Army. Harry Dénis
Henri ("Harry") Léonard Barthélémi Dénis (28 August 1896 – 13 July 1971) was a football defender from the Netherlands, who represented his home country at three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1920. Club career Dénis started playing football with local side DVV and joined HBS aged 11. He would stay at the club for the rest of his career, winning the 1925 Netherlands Football League Championship with them. International career At his Olympic debut in Antwerp, Belgium he won the bronze medal with the Netherlands national football team, followed by a fourth place four years later in Paris, France. Dénis obtained a total number of 56 caps for the Netherlands, in which he was captain in 37 matches. He was one of the most prominent Dutch footballers in the 1920s. Albert Prince-Cox
Captain Albert James Prince-Cox (8 August 189026 October 1967) was an English football manager, player and referee, boxer, boxing promoter and a fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society. Prince-Cox became the Secretary-manager of Bristol Rovers in 1930. At the time of his appointment the club were struggling financially, but he was credited with turning the situation around through his use of the player transfer market to buy and sell players for a profit. He left ''The Pirates'' (a nickname that he introduced, along with the team's blue and white quartered shirts, which are still worn today) in 1936. He then spent two years working as a full-time boxing promoter, before being appointed as manager of Gloucester City in 1938, at which point he was one of the best-known sporting figures in the West of England.
