Hans De Wolf
Hans de Wolf (born 12 February 1955) is a Dutch television, documentary and film producer. He is also a guest tutor at the Netherlands Film Academy and the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts. From 1985 to 1989 Hans was director of the Netherlands Film Festival. From 1990 onwards he was producer at production company Egmond Film & Television, winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 68th Academy Awards with the film ''Antonia's Line''. From 2008 until 2021 he was the co-founder and producer of production company KeyFilm together with Hanneke Niens. During his career Hans de Wolf won numerous awards both as producer and with KeyFilm. ''Bluebird'' is a 2004 Dutch television film directed by Mijke de Jong. It is the first in a trilogy of films made by de Jong about young women becoming adults. ''The Idol'' is a 2015 Palestinian drama film directed by Hany Abu-Assad. It was shown in the Special Presentations section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. The Platinum Film ( nl, Platina Film) is a film award recognising domestic box office achievements in the Netherlands. It is awarded for the first 400,000 visitors of a Dutch film production. In 2003, one of the requirements for the award was raised from 200,000 to 400,000 visitors. All films that had received the Platinum Film for 200,000 tickets sold, would also have received the award under the new criterion, with the exception of '' The Moving True Story of a Woman Ahead of Her Time'' (2001).
