Hans Brattestå
Hans Brattestå (born 17 May 1947 in Ramnes) is a Norwegian civil servant and jurist. Since 1990 he has been director of the Parliament of Norway. He worked for the foreign service from 1978 to 1984, and since then has been staff at parliament. Ramnes
Ramnes is a village in Tønsberg municipality, and former municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county, Norway. The village of Ramnes was the administrative centre of the municipality. Summary The parish of ''Ramnæs'' was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). According to the 1835 census the municipality had a population of 2,716. On 16 July 1873 an uninhabited part of Våle municipality was moved to Ramnes following a royal resolution. On January 1, 2002, Ramnes was merged with Våle to form the new municipality of Re, which on January 1, 2020, merged into Tønsberg. In 1996 Ramnes had a population of 3,579. The municipality and originally the parish was named after the old farm Ramnes (Old Norse ''Rafnnes''), since the first church was built there. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. A member of Stortinget is known in Norwegian as a ''stortingsrepresentant'', literally "Storting representative". The ''Great Norwegian Encyclopedia'' ( no, Store Norske Leksikon, abbreviated ''SNL''), is a Norwegian-language online encyclopedia. The online encyclopedia is among the most-read Norwegian published sites, with more than two million unique visitors per month. Lovdata is a Norwegian foundation which publishes judicial information of Norway.
