Hannoverscher SC
Hannoverscher Sport-Club von 1893 e.V., commonly referred to as Hannoverscher SC or HSC Hannover, is a German association football club from Hanover, Lower Saxony. Hannoverscher SC play in the Regionalliga Nord, the fourth tier in the German football league system, having been promoted from the Oberliga Niedersachsen in 2019. History On 1 September 1897, pupils founded the ''Fußsport-Verein 1897'', which was a pure rugby club. This club was joined in 1910 by ''Herta 1910 Hannover'' and in 1913 by ''SuS 1911 Hannover''. In 1918, the Fußsport-Verein merged with ''VfR Hannover'' to form ''Hannoverscher SC 02''. VfR Hannover was formed through the merger of the clubs ''Hannoverscher SC'' and ''Germania Hannover''. In 1927, the hockey club ''Hockeyklub Elite Hannover'' joined the HSC, before it merged with the football club ''Sport Rot-Weiß 1899 Hannover'' to form the ''Spielvereinigung Hannover 1897'' one year later. Regionalliga Nord
The Regionalliga Nord ( en, Regional League North) is the fourth tier of the German football league system in the states of Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Bremen and Hamburg. It is one of five leagues at this level, together with the Regionalliga Bayern, Regionalliga Nordost, Regionalliga Südwest and the Regionalliga West. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the third tier. From 1963 to 1974, a Regionalliga Nord existed as the second tier of the German football league system, but it is not related to the current Regionalliga. Gauliga Niedersachsen
The Gauliga Niedersachsen was the highest football league in the Prussian Province of Hanover and the German states of Bremen, Brunswick, Schaumburg-Lippe and Oldenburg from 1933 to 1945. Shortly after the formation of the league, the Nazis reorganised the administrative regions in Germany, and the ''Gaue'' '' Südhannover-Braunschweig'', '' Ost-Hannover'' and ''Weser-Ems'' de facto replaced the Prussian province and the German states in the region of Lower Saxony (German:''Niedersachsen''), although de jure the old states continued to exist. From 1942, the ''Gauliga Niedersachsen'' was split into two separate leagues, the ''Gauliga Südhannover-Braunschweig'' and the ''Gauliga Weser-Ems''. The Landesliga ( en, Football State League) is a tier of football in some states of the German football league system. In Bavaria, Saxony, Thuringia, Bremen, Lower Saxony and Hamburg, the Landesligas are set right below the Oberliga and therefore are the sixth tier. The reason for this is that Bavaria, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, and Bremen are the only places in Germany where the Oberliga, the State, and the Verband are geographically the same, while the other two states simply chose to call their leagues ''Landesligas'' when establishing them in 1990. In the Middle Rhine and Lower Rhine regions of North Rhine-Westphalia it is also, since 2012, the sixth tier. The Oberliga Nord was the fourth tier of the German football league system in the north of Germany. It covered the states of Lower Saxony, Bremen, Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. Volker Finke
Volker Finke (born 24 March 1948) is a German football manager. He was the coach of SC Freiburg for 16 years. Coaching career On 6 December 2008, Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds announced they signed a contract with Finke as head coach until 2010. On 18 December 2010, Finke was named as the new director of sport by 1. FC Köln effective on 1 February 2011. Effective on 27 April 2011, Finke additionally became interim coach until the end of the season. On 10 March 2012, Köln parted company with Finke by mutual consent after a 1–0 win over Hertha BSC. Stadthagen
Stadthagen () is the capital of the district of Schaumburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Minden and 40 km west of Hanover. The city consists of the districts Brandenburg, Enzen-Hobbensen, Hörkamp-Langenbruch, Krebshagen, Obernwöhren, Probsthagen, Reinsen and Wendthagen-Ehlen.
