Hannibal Navies
Hannibal Navies (born July 19, 1977) is a former American football player in the NFL. Hannibal was a third-team All Big 12 selection at the University of Colorado and earned the team’s defensive player of the year award after starting every game at linebacker. He was drafted in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, then played for the Green Bay Packers. In 2005, he signed with the Cincinnati Bengals where he started 15 games. Navies was cut in training camp a year later. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers on November 22, 2006, but was cut to make room for Zak Keasey in 2007. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Berkeley High School is a public high school in the Berkeley Unified School District, and the only public high school in the city of Berkeley, California, United States. It is located one long block west of Shattuck Avenue and three short blocks south of University Avenue in Downtown Berkeley, and is recognized as a Berkeley landmark. Zakary A. Keasey (born March 19, 1982) is a former professional Fullback (American football), fullback and linebacker in the National Football League. Keasey played collegiate football for Princeton University, Princeton, and professional football for the Washington Redskins, San Francisco 49ers, and the New Orleans Saints. High School and College Keasey attended Lake Orion High School in Lake Orion, Michigan. Keasey attended Princeton University, and was awarded the Dick Kazmaier, Poe-Kazmaier Trophy, the highest award given to a Princeton football player.
