Mufi Hannemann
Muliufi Francis Hannemann (born July 16, 1954) is an American politician, businessman, and non-profit executive. He was elected twice as Mayor of Honolulu in 2004 and 2008. Hannemann has served as a special assistant in Washington, D.C., with the Department of the Interior, where he was selected for a White House fellowship in the Reagan administration under Vice President George H. W. Bush. He also served as chairman of the Honolulu City Council. He is the first person of Samoan descent and the second member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to serve as Mayor of Honolulu (Neal Blaisdell was the first). Jacob Howard Hannemann (born April 29, 1991) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball in 2017. Prior to his professional career, he attended Brigham Young University (BYU) and played college baseball for the BYU Cougars. Amateur career Hannemann attended Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah, graduating in 2010. The Kansas City Royals selected Hannemann in the 48th round of the 2010 MLB Draft. Though the Royals offered Hannemann a $250,000 signing bonus, Hannemann opted not to sign. Raik Hannemann (born 19 February 1968) is a retired German swimmer who won three medals in medley events at the LEN European Aquatics Championships of 1985–1989. Felix Hanemann (born May 1, 1953) is an American singer and musician. Biography Early life He graduated from Warren Easton High School and attended the University of New Orleans and Loyola (Music Major, English Minor). His joined first band, The Salt & Pepper Conspiracy, when he was 14 yrs old. In 1972 he put together band Shepherd’s Bush with Randy Jackson as the lead guitarist. Career Hanemann formed the band Zebra in February 1975 with guitarist and singer Randy Jackson and drummer Guy Gelso, with Felix playing bass, keyboards and backing vocals.
