This is a list of animated television series, made-for-television films, direct-to-video films, theatrical short subjects, and feature films produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions (also known as ''H-B Enterprises'', ''H-B Production Co.'' and ''Hanna-Barbera Cartoons''). This list does not include the animated theatrical shorts William Hanna and Joseph Barbera produced while employed by MGM. Note that some shows or new spin-offs of shows may be listed twice. Productions by Hanna-Barbera won eight Emmy Awards. In 2001, Warner Bros. Animation took over function of Hanna-Barbera following Hanna's death. Pixie And Dixie And Mr
A pixie (also called pisky, pixy, pixi, pizkie, piskie, or pigsie in parts of Cornwall and Devon) is a mythical creature of British folklore. Pixies are speculated to be particularly concentrated in the high moorland areas around Devon and Cornwall, suggesting some Celtic origin for the belief and name. However, the word 'pixie' (under various forms) also appears in Dorset, Somerset and to a lesser extent in Sussex, Wiltshire and Hampshire. Similar to the Irish and Scottish ''Aos Sí'' (also spelled ''Aos Sidhe''), pixies are believed to inhabit ancient underground sites such as stone circles, barrows, dolmens, ringforts, or menhirs. Yakky Doodle
Yakky Doodle is a fictional anthropomorphic yellow duckling with green wings, who appears for the first time in prototype form on ''The Huckleberry Hound Show'' in 1958 and on ''The Quick Draw McGraw Show'' in 1960, and in regular design on ''The Yogi Bear Show'' in 1961, on his own segment. Yakky's name is a spoof of "Yankee Doodle". Character description Yakky Doodle (voiced by Jimmy Weldon using buccal speech technique) is an anthropomorphic yellow duckling with green wings who lives with his best friend and adoptive father Chopper the bulldog. Yakky is always one to run into danger. This usually comes in the form of the show's main antagonist Fibber Fox or secondary villain Alfy Gator. Chopper defends his "Little Buddy" fiercely, and is always ready to pound Fibber or any other enemy into oblivion if necessary. Snagglepuss
Snagglepuss is a fictional cartoon character who debuted in prototype form on ''The Quick Draw McGraw Show'' in 1959 and was established as a studio regular by 1961. A light pink anthropomorphic Puma (species), puma sporting an upturned collar, shirt cuffs, and bow tie, Snagglepuss enjoys the finer things in life and shows a particular affinity for the theatre. His stories routinely break the fourth wall as the character addresses the audience in self-narrator, narration, soliloquy, and asides. As originally voiced by Daws Butler, Snagglepuss seeks quasi-William Shakespeare, Shakespearean turns of phrase. The Yogi Bear Show
''The Yogi Bear Show'' is an American comedy animated television series, and the first entry of the ''Yogi Bear'' franchise, produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. A spin-off of '' The Huckleberry Hound Show'', the show centers on the adventures of forest-dwelling Yogi Bear in Jellystone Park. The show debuted in syndication on January 30, 1961, and ran for 33 episodes until January 6, 1962. Two other segments for the show were '' Snagglepuss'' and '' Yakky Doodle''. The show had a two-year production run. Laugh Track
A laugh track (or laughter track) is an audio recording consisting of laughter (and other audience reactions) usually used as a separate soundtrack for comedy productions. The laugh track may contain live audience reactions or artificial laughter (canned laughter or fake laughter) made to be inserted into the show, or a combination of the two. The use of canned laughter to "sweeten" the laugh track was pioneered by American sound engineer Charles "Charley" Douglass. The Douglass laugh track became a standard in mainstream television in the U.S., dominating most prime-time sitcoms and sketch comedies from the late 1950s to the late 1970s. ''The Flintstones'' is an American animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera, Hanna-Barbera Productions, which takes place in a romanticized Stone Age setting and follows the titular family, the Flintstones, and their next-door neighbors, the Rubbles. Snooper And Blabber
''Snooper and Blabber'' is one of the three component segments of ''The Quick Draw McGraw Show''. The 35 individual shorts were produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions between September 19, 1959 and October 20, 1961. History Snooper and Blabber form a pair of cat and mouse detectives, respectively, working for the Super Snooper Detective Agency. Daws Butler voiced both characters although the first four episodes originally featured a different actor, Elliot Field, as the voice of Blabber Mouse. Michael Maltese crafted the stories. Quick Draw McGraw is the protagonist and title character of '' The Quick Draw McGraw Show''. He is an anthropomorphic white horse wearing a red Stetson cowboy hat, a red holster belt, a light blue bandana, and occasionally spurs, he was originally voiced mainly by Daws Butler from 1959 until Butler's death in 1988.
