Hannah van Kampen (born 8 May 1993) is a New Zealand cyclist. She represented New Zealand at the 2016 Summer Paralympics as the sighted pilot for Amanda Cameron. Para-cycling
Para-cycling (or Paracycling) is the sport of cycling adapted for cyclists who have various disabilities. It is governed by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The sport consists of seven different events which include road and track races. The world's elite para-cyclists compete at Track and Road Worlds Championships (since 1994), the Commonwealth Games, the Paralympic Games and the World Cup (since 2010). History Para-cycling originated in the 1980s, starting with visually impaired riders who competed on a tandem with a sighted partner. Emmen, Netherlands
Emmen () is a municipality and town of the province of Drenthe in the northeastern Netherlands. History A planned city, Emmen arose from several small farming and peat-harvesting communities which have dotted the province of Drenthe since the Middle Ages. Traces of these communities can still be seen in the form of the villages of Westenesch, Noordbarge and Zuidbarge: they have a separate history and layout but are surrounded by the suburbs and the center of Emmen. Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. It is located about 60 km east of Utrecht, 60 km west of Enschede, 25 km north of Arnhem and 35 km south of Zwolle. Emma Foy
Emma Foy (born 6 April 1989) is a New Zealand para-cyclist. She represented New Zealand at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she won a silver and a bronze medal with sighted pilot Laura Thompson. From 2013 to 2019, she won a total of thirteen medals (including five gold) at the UCI Para-cycling Track and Road Championships. In 2020, with sighted pilot Hannah van Kampen, Foy retained the world title in the women's individual pursuit tandem at the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships.
