Hanna Musleh
Hanna Musleh is a Palestinian film maker and university professor. Studies Musleh was born in 1954 in Beit Jala to Wahbe and Nijmeh Musleh where he attended the Mennonite School. He studied at Leningrad State University in Russia for a degree in anthropology and Manchester University in England afterwards. Since 1980 he has worked as a professor at Bethlehem University teaching cultural studies, history, anthropology film appreciation, religion and philosophy where he remains with his Russian wife Lilia and their son Alexander. Beit Jala
Beit Jala ( ar, ) is a Palestinian Christian town in the Bethlehem Governorate of the West Bank. Beit Jala is located 10 km south of Jerusalem, on the western side of the Hebron road, opposite Bethlehem, at altitude. In 2017, Beit Jala had 13,367 inhabitants according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics. About 80% of the population were Christians (mostly Greek Orthodox) and about 20% Muslims. Saint Petersburg State University (SPBU; russian: Санкт-Петербургский государственный университет) is a public research university in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Bethlehem University ( ar, جامعة بيت لحم) is a Catholic university in the city of Bethlehem in the West Bank, Palestine. It is the first university founded in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Raymonda Hawa Tawil ( ar, ريموندا حوا الطويل, born Raymonda Hawa in 1940 in Acre in Mandatory Palestine) is a Palestinian writer and journalist. She is the mother of Suha Arafat. Life Raymonda Tawil is a poet, writer and Palestinian journalist, born in 1940 in Acre in a prominent family of Palestinian Christians. She spent part of childhood as a boarder with French Catholic sisters. Her public life began with an intellectual show that was held in Nablus, northern West Bank. Independent-spirited columns earned her the nickname "The Lioness of Nablus".
