''Krazy'' was a British comic book magazine published every Monday by IPC Magazines Ltd. It ran from (issues dates) 16 October 1976 to 15 April 1978, when it merged with stable-mate ''Whizzer and Chips''. In 1977, one of the characters in the comic, Cheeky, proved popular enough to get his own comic, '' Cheeky'', which was later merged into ''Whoopee!''. The comic included a "disguise" back-cover, such as the cover of a diary or brochure, which allowed readers to hide the comic from parents or teachers (although one issue on April Fool's day had the front cover upside down). Stories ''Krazy'' was noted for its rich content of small humorous jokes and illustrations positioned at random places among the comic strips and features. Samuel Lover
Samuel Lover (24 February 1797 – 6 July 1868), also known as "Ben Trovato" ("well invented"), was an Irish songwriter, composer and novelist, and a portrait painter, chiefly in miniatures. He was the grandfather of Victor Herbert. Life Lover was born at No. 60 Grafton Street, Dublin and went to school at Samuel Whyte's at No. 79, which now houses Bewley's Café. By 1830 he was Secretary of the Royal Hibernian Academy and living at No. 9 D'Olier Street. In 1835 he moved to London and began composing music for a series of comic stage works. For some, like the operetta ''Il Paddy Whack in Italia'' (1841), he contributed libretto and music, for others just a few songs. Lover produced many Irish songs, of which several, such as ''The Angel's Whisper'', ''Molly Bawn (song), Molly Bawn'', and ''The Four-leaved Shamrock'', gained popularity. Handy Andy Home Improvement Centers was founded as Arrow Lumber Company by Joseph Rashkow in 1947 on the south side of Chicago. His son, Ronald Rashkow, bought out the single store operation in 1967 from his father. He converted the company to Handy Andy in 1971 with its first expansion unit. The company grew to 72 stores in seven American states (Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Mississippi, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky). At its peak, the company had approximately 11,000 employees and annual revenue of $750 million. The chain advertised with the phrase "Handy Andy, you've got it made". The company's core product mix included hardware, lumber, building materials, home decor, kitchen/bath and lawn/garden.
