Hands On Approach
Hands on Approach are a Portugal, Portuguese pop rock band based in Setúbal. Band members are: João Luís (bass), Rui David (vocals/acoustic guitar) and Sérgio Miendes (lead guitars). Career In early 1996 the band's vocalist, Rui David, was playing acoustic guitar and singing on a beach in the Algarve (south of Portugal) when a Disc Jockey, DJ from a national radio station heard him. He enjoyed the songs and invited Rui to play them live on his late night program. After that, and for the next 3 years, the band did the usual circuit of live performances, music festivals and making Demo (music), demos. In 1999 Universal/PolyGram signed up the band. The band’s debut album, called ''Blown'', was released in March, 1999 and sold just below platinum. The first single to be taken from the album was ''My Wonder Moon'' and it remained in first place of the Portuguese airplay charts for almost two months. Setúbal (, , ; cel-x-proto, Caetobrix) is a city and a municipality in Portugal. The population in 2014 was 118,166, occupying an area of . The city itself had 89,303 inhabitants in 2001. São Pedro do Sul () is a Concelho, municipality in the Centro Region, Portugal, Central Portugal, Portuguese district of Viseu (district), Viseu. The Divine Comedy (band)
The Divine Comedy are a pop band from Northern Ireland, formed in 1989 and fronted by Neil Hannon. Hannon has been the only constant member of the group, playing, in some instances, all of the non-orchestral instrumentation except drums. The band has released 12 studio albums. Between 1996 and 1999, nine singles released by the band made the UK Top 40, including the 1999 top-ten hit "National Express". Spiritualized
Spiritualized (stylised as Spiritualized®) are an English rock band formed in 1990 in Rugby, Warwickshire, by Jason Pierce (often known as J. Spaceman), formerly of Spacemen 3. After several line up-changes, in 1999, the band centered on Pierce (vocals, guitar), Doggen Foster (guitar) and Kevin Bales (drums and percussion) with revolving bassists and keyboard players.
