HC Leipzig is a women's handball club based in Leipzig, Germany. Arena Leipzig
The Arena Leipzig is a multipurpose indoor arena located in Leipzig, Germany. The capacity of the arena is 8,000 people for sporting events and up to 12,200 for shows and concerts. It is part of the Sportforum Leipzig, which also contains Red Bull Arena and the Sportmuseum Leipzig. Structure The main hall has retractable stands and has depending on its configuration a size from 2,400 to 4,656 square meters. The height of the hall is between 12 and 20 meters. Hypo Niederösterreich
Hypo Niederösterreich (Hypo NÖ) is an Austrian women's handball club, headquartered in Maria Enzersdorf. They are one of the most successful teams on the EHF Champions League, having won the title eight times. They are also former winners of the EHF Champions Trophy in 2000. Between 2011 and 2014, Hypo NÖ had a partnership with the Brazilian Handball Confederation, playing host to various players of the Brazil women's national handball team - including Alexandra Nascimento, who already played for Hypo since 2003 - and coach Morten Soubak. Ulrike Mertesacker ( Stange; born 25 April 1984) is a German former professional handball player. She played for several top-flight handball clubs and the Germany national team in her seven years as a professional. Since 2011 she has lived in London with her husband, Arsenal Academy manager and retired footballer Per Mertesacker, and last played for amateur side Thames Handball Club. Brest Bretagne Handball, also knows as BBH, is a French professional handball club from Brest, Brittany. This team currently competes in the French Women's Handball First League from 2016 and the 2021–22 Women's EHF Champions League. HC Kuban Krasnodar
HC Kuban Krasnodar is a Russian women's handball team from Krasnodar competing in the Russian Super League. Kuban enjoyed its golden era in the late 1980s, winning two Cup Winners' Cups in 1987 and 1988 by beating TSC Berlin and Vasas Budapest in the final, and reaching the 1990 European Cup's final, lost to Hypo Niederösterreich, after winning the 1989 Soviet Championship. Kuban also played a third unsuccessful Cup Winners' Cup final in 1989. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union Kuban won the transitional CIS Championship, but it hasn't been able to win the new Russian Super League to date.
