"Hand in Hand" () is a song by South Korean band Koreana that was the official theme song of the 1988 Summer Olympics held in Seoul, South Korea. It was sung in both Korean and English. The song was produced by Giorgio Moroder. Its English lyrics were written by Tom Whitlock, its Korean lyrics by Kim Moon-hwan. The song topped music charts in 17 countries, including Sweden, West Germany, the Philippines, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Japan and Hong Kong. The album ''Hand in Hand'' sold more than 12 million copies worldwide. It has since been translated and covered several times. In 2013, Giorgio Moroder said that the original singer of the demo recording which he presented to PolyGram was Joe Pizzulo, not Koreana. Koreana, formerly known as Arirang Singers, are a South Korean band. They were formed in 1962 and started being popular internationally after they released their debut album ''DisCorea'' on Polydor label in 1979. The single "Dark Eyes" from the eponymous album was a big hit. After the great success, they continued to release more albums: ''Burning Fantasy'' (1980) and ''Highlights (Too Much Love)'' (1983). From 1990 to 2000, a total of 104 five-minute ''Pingu'' episodes were made at Trickfilmstudio in Russikon, Switzerland. The episodes were written by Silvio Mazzola, and were directed and animated by Otmar Gutmann using clay animation. A special twenty-five minute episode called "Pingu at the Wedding Party" (also known by its home video title ''A Very Special Wedding'') was produced in 1997. The series was revived from 2003 to 2006 for a further 52 episodes, now produced in the United Kingdom instead of Switzerland. The leading numbers identify the series and episode number (e.g. 5.10 is episode 10 of series 5). Where applicable, it is denoted whether the title shown is an alternative rather than the main. ''Pingu'' is a stop-motion children's television series co-created by Otmar Gutmann and Erika Brueggemann. It was originally produced from 1990 to 2000 by Swiss company The Pygos Group (originally called Trickfilmstudio) for SF DRS in Switzerland. It was later revived from 2003 to 2006 for CBeebies by British companies HIT Entertainment and Hot Animation. The series focuses on a family of anthropomorphic emperor penguins who live in the South Pole; the main character is the family's son and title character, Pingu. Wizex
Wizex is a Swedish dansband formed in Osby in 1973. It purchased the rights to the name from a band that started as ''Ulrik Wittmans Kvintett'' in 1957''.'' When Ulrik Wittman left the band in 1963 they started to use the name ''Wizex''. When read out the name sounds like "The Six of Us", "vi sex", in Swedish, and it was six persons left in the band when they changed the name. Today's band had six founders and was allowed to purchase the name, and hence use 1973 as the starting point. Wizex broke through in 1977 when they performed on nationwide TV-show '' Nygammalt'' and got its first top ten on the Swedish charts same year with the song ''Vagabond.''
