Han Kwang-song (; born 11 September 1998) is a North Korean professional footballer who plays as a forward. He last played for Al Duhail in the Qatar Stars League, who were forced to terminate his contract in 2021 due to UN sanctions against North Korea, which have stopped him from playing for another club since. Early life Han Kwang-song was born on 11 September 1998 in Pyongyang, North Korea to a working-class family. Han's early interest in football led him to study at the Pyongyang International Football School, a youth academy that annually accommodates 200 aspiring footballers, and was part of a group of athletes sponsored by the North Korean government that afforded them the opportunity to receive training overseas. North Korea National Football Team
The North Korea national football team ( Munhwaŏ ko, 조선민주주의인민공화국 국가종합팀, recognized as Korea DPR by FIFA) represents North Korea in men's international football and it is controlled by the DPR Korea Football Association, the governing body for Football in North Korea. The team represents both FIFA and Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Choe Song-hyok (, born February 8, 1998) is a North Korean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the North Korean national team. Club career Youth career Choe started out with Chobyong, a North Korean academy known for developing young talent. Choe signed with Italian club Fiorentina in February 2016, joining the Primavera (under-19) squad. On March 5, he made his debut for Fiorentina Primavera, during a 4–2 victory over Virtus Entella U19. In doing so, he became the first North Korean footballer to ever make an appearance for an Italian club at any level. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. The ("Italy Cup") is an annual knockout cup competition in Italian football organized by the FIGC until the 2009–10 season and the Lega Serie A ever since.
