Hampton Senior High School
Hampton Senior High School is an Independent public co-educational high day school, located in the Perth suburb of Morley, Western Australia. History In August 1965, the Department of Education announced that a school would open in Hampton in 1966 to reduce overcrowding at Governor Stirling, Cyril Jackson and John Forrest Senior High Schools. Hampton Senior High School opened in February 1966, but the school had not been completed yet. Two classrooms at Middle Swan Primary School and five at Midland Technical School were used by the school for the first term of 1966. Students were transported by bus to other facilities to do home economics and design and technology. In term two, the school's buildings were complete and so the school moved in. The school is named after John Hampton, the Governor of Western Australia from 1862 to 1868. In 1986, the school first started its dance program. In 1991, the school held its 25th year reunion. Home economics, also called domestic science or family and consumer sciences, is a subject concerning human development, personal and family finances, consumer issues, housing and interior design, nutrition and food preparation, as well as textiles and apparel. ''Nine News'' (stylised ''9News'') is the national news service of the Nine Network in Australia. Gyroscope (band)
Gyroscope are an Australian rock band from Perth, which formed in 1997 as Gyroscope Sunday. The members are Daniel Sanders as lead vocalist and on guitar, Zoran Trivic on guitar and backing vocals, Brad Campbell on bass guitar and backing vocals and Rob Nassif on drums. As of 2014 the group has released four studio albums on major labels. Gyroscope's first major label album, ''Sound Shattering Sound'', was released in June 2004 – seven years after formation. It peaked at No. 37 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their second such album, ''Are You Involved?'', was issued in September 2005, which debuted at No. 20. My School is a website administered by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) which provides access to information about Australian schools. Nearly 10,000 schools across Australia can be searched. The site reports data from the annual National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests which compulsorily assess reading, writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and numeracy at years 3, 5, 7 and 9 for all Australian school students. It also displays information such as school missions, staffing, financial information, its resources and its students' characteristics. The website does not allow users to directly compare schools of their choosing. Noranda is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of Bayswater. The suburb was named in 1977 after Noranda Park, a town in the U.S. state of Florida. The portion north of Widgee Road was transferred to the City of Bayswater from the City of Swan on 1 July 2016. The suburb is a middle- to upper-middle class area with some affluent pockets. Bayswater is a suburb north-east of the central business district (CBD) of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. It is just north of the Swan River, within the City of Bayswater local government area. It is predominantly a low-density residential suburb consisting of single-family detached homes. __NOTOC__ Bassendean (once referred to as West Guildford) is a north-eastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Its local government area is the Town of Bassendean. It is also the name of the sand dune system on the Swan Coastal Plain known as the ''Bassendean Dune System''.
