Hamish Northcott
Hamish Northcott (born 6 August 1992) is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays as a second five-eighth for in the Mitre 10 Cup. He has also played for the in Super Rugby. Career A product of Feilding High School, Northcott followed a well walked path into the Manawatu Turbos Mitre 10 Cup team. He debuted for Manawatu in the 2012 season making only one appearance and then played four times the following year. In 2014 he finally nailed down a place as a starter and was a key member of the Turbos side which finished top of the ITM Cup Championship division. Northcott has also been a member of the development side. Some strong performances in the Turbos midfield during 2014 earned him a Super Rugby contract with the Blues for 2015 coached by Sir John Kirwan. Feilding
Feilding ( mi, Aorangi) is a town in the Manawatū District of the North Island of New Zealand. It is located on State Highway 54, 20 kilometres north of Palmerston North. The town is the seat of the Manawatū District Council. Feilding has won the annual New Zealand's Most Beautiful Town award 15 times. It is an Edwardian-themed town, with the district plan encouraging buildings in the CBD to be built in that style. The Cheetahs (known for sponsorship reasons as the Toyota Cheetahs), is a South African professional rugby union team that played Super Rugby between 2006 and 2017, before joining the Pro14 (Now United Rugby Championship) competition prior to the 2017–18 season. 2016 Super Rugby Season
The 2016 Super Rugby season was the 21st season of Super Rugby and the first season featuring an expanded 18-team format. It was also the first season that teams outside Australia, New Zealand and South Africa featured, with the Jaguares from Argentina and the Sunwolves from Japan taking part. This season also saw the return of the Kings, who competed just once before, in the 2013 Super Rugby season. The Highlanders (formerly the Otago Highlanders) is a New Zealand professional rugby union team based in Dunedin that compete in Super Rugby. The team was formed in 1996 to represent the lower South Island in the newly formed Super 12 competition, and includes the Otago, North Otago and Southland unions. George Moala (born 5 November 1990), is a professional rugby union player currently playing for Clermont Auvergne in the French Top 14, having previously played in New Zealand for both Auckland and the Blues.
