Hamid Nawaz
Lieutenant General Hamid Nawaz Khan, HI(M), was a career Pakistan Army general who served as Interior Minister of Pakistan from November 2007 to April 2008 and Defence Secretary of Pakistan from 2001 to 2005. He also held the positions of chairman at Pakistan International Airlines, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Fauji Foundation. He was the nephew of Chaudhry Naseer Ahmad Malhi from his father's side, one of the founders of Pakistan and the First Education Minister of Pakistan. His family is a part of the Sivia Jatt community. Education and Army Career Nawaz Khan was a commerce graduate with honours from Punjab University and a M.Sc. in War Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University. Sheikhupura
Sheikhupura ( pa, ; ur, ) also known as Qila Sheikhupura, is a city in the Pakistani province of Punjab, Pakistan, Punjab. Founded by the Mughal Empire, Mughal Emperor Jahangir, Jehangir in 1607, Sheikhupura is the List of most populous cities in Pakistan, 16th largest city of Pakistan by population and is the headquarters of Sheikhupura District. The city is an industrial center, and satellite town, located about 38 km northwest of Lahore. It is also connected to District Kasur. The Jat people ((), ()) are a traditionally agricultural community in Northern India and Pakistan. Originally pastoralists in the lower Indus river-valley of Sindh, Jats migrated north into the Punjab region in late medieval times, and subsequently into the Delhi Territory, northeastern Rajputana, and the western Gangetic Plain in the 17th and 18th centuries. Rehman Malik
Abdul Rehman Malik NI ( Punjabi, Urdu: رحمان ملک; born 12 December 1951 – 23 February 2022) was a Pakistani politician and a Federal Investigation Agency officer, having served as the Interior Minister from being appointed on 25 March 2008 until 16 March 2013. Prior to his entry in national politics, Malik had pursued a successful career in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) as a special agent, eventually becoming the Additional Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency in 1993 until 1996. During his stint as Director, he coordinated successful counter-terrorist operations in the country as well as abroad, including the arrest and extradition of Yousaf Ramzi to the United States in 1995. Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao (آفتاب احمد خان شېرپاؤ; born 20 August 1944) is a Pakistani politician who is the current chairman of the centre-left Pashtun nationalist Qaumi Watan Party, after previously being a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party. He was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from November 2002 to May 2018. Sherpao previously served as the Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan. The Punjab Regiment is an infantry regiment of the Pakistan Army. The regiment takes its name from the historic Punjab region, which is now divided into the Punjab province of Pakistan and the Indian states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
