Hamed Ahangi Moghaddam ( fa, حامد آهنگی مقدم; born July 8, 1979) is an Iranian comedian, host, actor and director. He is best known for his talk show ''Ahangi Night'' (2021–2022) for which he earned a Hafez Award nomination. In 2023, he received another Hafez Award nomination for ''TNT''. Early life and career In 1993, at the age of 14, Hamed Ahangi joined Bandar Anzali theater groups, and a few years later, he won the Academy Award for acting in the province's student theater for his role in a drama play directed by Mohammad Ali Entezari. In 2001, along with Reza Nazari, he started working on the Night War program, and as a writer and director, he performed various plays, including Adventurous Journey, Concours, Satellite, Classroom, Random Groom, and Fake Secretary. The beginning of his professional music work was formed in 2002 with the invitation of Baran Network; he experienced working with television and made various programs for the network over the years. ...

Hafez Awards
Hafez Awards is an annual awards ceremony which is held honoring cinematic achievements in Iranian cinema. The awards, first presented in 1997, are presented by Picture World Magazine (Aka. Donyaye Tassvir in Persian) which makes it to be known also as Donyaye Tassvir Awards. It's the only non-governmental ceremony among the cinematic festivals and awards held in Iran. Mehran Modiri and Asghar Farhadi jointly with 9 statues of Hafez are the record holders of this award. Background Ali Moallem, Picture World founder and previous editor, established the awards in mid-'90s when Iranian cinema was under heavy governmental dominance. IRIB TV2 ( fa, شبكه دو, ''Shabakeh-ye Do'', lit. Channel 2) is one of the 40 national television channels in Iran. It broadcasts to the Persian-speaking areas of the Middle East and is headquartered in Tehran. Mehran Modiri ( fa, مهران مدیری; born 7 April 1967) is an Iranian director, producer, actor, and singer. He is considered to be the leading artist in social satire in Iran. His various series, which have been broadcast through IRIB have set records in terms of viewership (an estimated 95% viewership when he is on-air), as well as make him a popular personality among the masses. His artistic career began in his teenage years acting in local plays. He then entered the world of radio and television in the early 1990s, actively writing scripts for and participating in various comedy skits during the annual Norooz comedy television shows broadcast by the IRIB. IRIB TV5 (شبکه پنج, ''Shibkâh-e Penj'' in Persian), is an Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting television channel. The channel is one of the newer television channels in Iran and was established on November 26, 1995.
