Hamburger Börs, or "Börsen", at Jakobsgatan in Stockholm is a stage for bar shows so called "krogshower" in Sweden. Many of Sweden's most famous singers have performed on the stage like Lill Lindfors, Monica Zetterlund, Povel Ramel, Lena Philipsson, Lill-Babs, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Björn Skifs and Jerry Williams (singer), Jerry Williams. But also more world-famous singers like Sammy Davis Jr, Johnny Cash, Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra and Liza Minnelli. Cornelis Vreeswijk
Cornelis Vreeswijk (; ; 8 August 1937 – 12 November 1987) was a Dutch-born Swedish singer-songwriter, poet and actor. He emigrated to Sweden with his parents in 1949 at the age of twelve. He was educated as a social worker and hoped to become a journalist, but became increasingly involved in music, performing at events for students with idiosyncratic humor and social engagement. Cornelis Vreeswijk is considered one of the most influential and successful troubadours in Sweden. In 2010 a Swedish drama film, called '' Cornelis'', was made about his life. Samuel George Davis Jr. (December 8, 1925 – May 16, 1990) was an American singer, dancer, actor, comedian, film producer and television director. At age three, Davis began his career in vaudeville with his father Sammy Davis Sr. and the Will Mastin Trio, which toured nationally, and his film career began in 1933. After military service, Davis returned to the trio and became an overnight sensation following a nightclub performance at Ciro's (in West Hollywood) after the 1951 Academy Awards. Erik Sven Fernström (15 April 1942 – 25 March 2018), known by his stage name Jerry Williams, was a Swedish singer and actor. He began his career as the lead singer of The Violents, before launching a solo career. Early life Williams grew up in a working-class family in Solna. The family had a one-room apartment. Björn Nils Olof Skifs (; born 20 April 1947) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, actor, and screenwriter. Career Björn Skifs formed his first musical group, Slam Creepers, in 1962.
