Hamato Yoshi
Splinter, often referred to as Master Splinter or Sensei by his students/sons, is a fictional character from the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' comics and all related media. A mutant rat, he is the grave and stoic sage of the Turtles, their ninjutsu and martial arts instructor, as well as their adoptive father. In some incarnations—including the original comics—he was the pet rat of martial artist Hamato Yoshi (Japanese: 濱戸義), while in others he is a mutated or reincarnated Yoshi himself. The character was originally a parody of the Marvel Comics character Stick. Kevin Brooks Eastman (born May 30, 1962) is an American comics artist, comic book artist and writer best known for co-creating the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Peter Laird. Eastman was also formerly the editor and publisher of the magazine ''Heavy Metal (magazine), Heavy Metal''. Early life and career Eastman was born in Springvale, ME. ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' is an American animated television series developed by Lloyd Goldfine, and based on the comic book characters of the same name created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The series premiered on February 8, 2003, as part of the Fox's FoxBox programming block (later known as 4Kids TV) and ended on February 28, 2009. The series was announced on May 7, 2002. It was co-produced by 4Kids Entertainment (as its first in-house animated production) and franchise creators Mirage Studios, which co-owned rights to the show, with animation provided by the studio Dong Woo. Peter Renaday
Peter Renaday is an American actor. His career spans several films and television shows. His major roles include Master Splinter in the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'', as well as Abraham Lincoln in the Hall of Presidents, and Henry in Country Bear Jamboree at Walt Disney World. Career In the 1980s, Renaday was cast as in the first animated adaptation of the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' as Hamato Yoshi/Splinter, the mentor of the eponymous turtles from 1987 until the show's finale in 1996. Mirage Studios was an American comic book company founded in 1983 by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird in Dover, New Hampshire. The company was best known for the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' (''TMNT'') comic book series and the subsequent franchise it has spawned. History Mirage Studios was started back in 1983, in Dover, New Hampshire. The company was named "Mirage" because there was no actual company. Turtles Forever
''Turtles Forever'' is a 2009 American animated superhero television film directed by Roy Burdine and Lloyd Goldfine. A crossover film featuring two different incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting together, it was produced in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the characters and serves as the series finale to the 2003 series. Michelangelo, nicknamed Mike or Mikey, is a superhero and one of the four main characters of the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' comics and all related media.
