Marwan Hamadeh
Marwan Hamadeh ( ar, مروان حمادة; born 11 September 1939) is a Lebanese journalist and politician, who served in various capacities in different cabinets, including minister of education, minister of telecommunications, minister of economy and trade, minister of tourism, minister of health and minister for the displaced. He served as a member of the Lebanese parliament until his resignation, on 5 August 2020, after the explosions in Beirut claiming that the government was "ineffective" to handle the incident. Sabri Hamadeh, also written as Sabri Hamadé or Hamada ( ar, صبري حماده) (1902–1976) was a Lebanese politician and long-time Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament. Sabri Hamadeh served as a pioneer in the Lebanese Independence. He worked with the government at that time, including Riad El Solh, the prime minister, and Bechara El Khoury, the president. Hussam "Sam" Hamadeh (1971 – December 10, 2015) was a media entrepreneur based in New York with business interests in digital media, publishing, and film. Hamadeh co-founded Vault.com in 1997 with his brother, Samer Hamadeh, and Mark Oldman. and served as the company's President through its successful sale in 2007 to private equity firm VSS, reportedly for nearly $100 million. Trad Hamadeh (born 1950 in Hermel) is a Shia Lebanese politician and was one of Hezbollah's two representatives in the Lebanese government of July 2005 led by Prime Minister Fouad Siniora. The other Hezbollah representative was Muhammad Fneish. Career Hamadeh worked as a journalist, political commentator, and university professor of philosophy. He was one of the Lebanese partisans of Palestinian Fatah movement from the early 1970s to the late 1980s. In 1984, he fled with his family to Paris. He stayed in Paris for ten years. Ali Hamadeh (born 5 September 1974) is a former professional tennis player from Memphis, Tennessee in the United States who competed for Lebanon. Hamadeh and partner, Mahesh Bhupathi, were NCAA double's champions in 1995, while at the University of Mississippi. He was a 2 Time All-American and 3 Time All SEC honors during his collegiate career. He was ranked #1 in the NCAA Doubles National Rankings (1995) and #6 in the NCAA Singles National Rankings (1996).
