Hamad Amar
Hamad Amar ( ar, حمد عمار, he, חָמַד עַמַאר; born 5 November 1964) is an Israeli Druze politician who currently serves as a member of Knesset for Yisrael Beiteinu since 2022, previously serving from 2009 to 2019 and again from 2019 to 2021. Amar also served as a Minister in the Finance Ministry from 2021 to 2022. Biography Hamed Amar was born in Shefa-'Amr. In 1982-1986, he served in the Israel Defense Forces. He earned a BA in sociology from Safed College, and a law degree from the Academic Center for Law and Science. Amar lives in Shfaram's al-Fuar neighbourhood. He is married, with three children. He has a fifth degree black belt in Karate, and chairs the Martial Arts Association in Israel. Amar runs a Druze youth movement that, as of 2013, had 12,000 members; in addition to emphasizing Druze culture and heritage, the group distributes thousands of food packets a month to families in need. Shefa-Amr, also Shfar'am ( ar, شفاعمرو, Šafāʻamr, he, שְׁפַרְעָם, Šəfarʻam) is an Arab city in the Northern District of Israel. They are a branch of the Circassian diaspora, which was formed as a consequence of the 19th-century Circassian genocide that was carried out by the Russian Empire during the Russo-Circassian War; Circassians are a Northwest Caucasian ethnic group who natively speak the Circassian languages and originate from the historical country-region of Circassia in the North Caucasus. Limor Magen Telem (born 17 March 1971) is an Israeli politician. She was a member of Knesset for Yisrael Beiteinu. Biography Born Limor Magen, she was raised in Haifa and attended the Hebrew Reali School. Aged 17, she took part in the Miss Israel 1988 pageant coming in second place, and was crowned Miss Europe Israel the same year. During her national service, she served in the Israeli Navy. Magen-Telem studied law at the University of Haifa, attaining a Master of Laws. She worked as an attorney and then as a legal advisor to the Migdal Haemek municipality between 2001 and 2021. The Norwegian Law ( he, החוק הנורווגי, ''HaḤok HaNorvegi''), initially Mini-Norwegian Law ( he, החוק הנורווגי הקטן) for its first version, is a name given to an amendment to the Basic Law: The Knesset, one of the Basic Laws of Israel. It affects the appointment of ministers and members of the Knesset. The amendment allows ministers or deputy ministers to resign from the Knesset but remain a minister, with their Knesset seat taken by the next person on the party's list. If the person who resigned leaves the cabinet, they are able to return to the Knesset in place of their replacement. The law initially limited each party to one resignation and replacement. The thirty-sixth government of Israel, or the Bennett–Lapid government, was the cabinet of Israel that was formed on 13 June 2021 after the 2021 Israeli legislative election.
