Hama Emme Meehekey
''Hama Emme Meehekey'' is a Maldivian web series written and directed by Ameena Mohamed. It stars Dheena Ahmed, Mariyam Waheedha, Ahmed Asim and Ravee Farooq in main roles. The pilot episode of the series was released on 15 June 2023. The series explores the life of a divorced woman torn between her past with her soon-to-be-committed ex-husband and the romantic interest of a former colleague. Filming for the first five episodes of the series took place in Male' from March to April 2023 during the period of Ramazan. It marks Ameena's second collaboration with Dheena and Mariyam after their comedy web series '' Office Loabi'' released in 2022. Mariyam Waheedha
Mariyam Waheedha (born 5 September 1984) is a Maldivian film actress and a news editor. Career Prior to her acting career, Waheedha worked as a news editor. She made her film debut in the Ravee Farooq-directed web series ''Ehenas,'' where she portrayed the character Zidhu, a colleague of a bullied and sexually abused male victim. Her performance and the series received mainly positive reviews from critics. Aishath Maahaa reviewing for ''Dho?'' wrote: "Considering heis a , hehas done an outstanding job in the series". She then took on the role of Shiflyn, an enthusiastic and bubbly character in the office comedy sitcom '' Office Loabi'' developed by Amyna Mohamed. Ahmed Asim
Ahmed Asim is an Maldivian actor, editor, director, and writer who works in Dhivehi films. Career Asim made his screen debut with a video single alongside Jamsheedha Ahmed. His first film release was Mohamed Abdul Hakeem and Mohamed Nasheed directed family drama '' Kaiveneege Furathama Rey'' (1999) though he was first offered to play a role Haajara Abdul Kareem-directed ''Ajaaib'' (2000) which was released a year later. In the latter, Asim starred alongside Mariyam Nazima, Koyya Hassan Manik and Waleedha Waleed which depicts the relationship of two exemplary wives and their respective families regardless of societal norms. Ravee Farooq
Ravee Farooq is a Maldivian actor, director, editor and choreographer. Career Farooq made his film debut with Abdul Faththaah-directed romantic disaster film, '' Hureemey Inthizaarugaa'' (2005) cast along with Mariyam Zuhura, Waleedha Waleed, Ibrahim Jihad and Neena Saleem. The film, heavily relied on the effect of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake on the Maldives, received favorable reviews from critics though it failed to perform financially. Farooq played the disrespectful husband who chose wealth above his family. His performance won a Miadhu Crystal Award for the Best Male Newcomer. In April 2006, Ahmed Nimal's revenge thriller '' Hiyani'' was released which featured Farooq as the kidnapper who constantly flirts with a rich married woman. ''Office Loabi'' is a Maldivian comedy web series written and directed by Amyna Mohamed. The series follows the life of colleagues, Rafhan Shareef, Ahmed Jillian Rashad, Ruby Fazal, Dheena Ahmed, Mohamed Shivaz, Mohamed Afrah, Aminath Shuha and Mariyam Waheedha. Aminath Suha Musthafa (born 7 May 1997), commonly known as Aminath Shuha is a Maldivian film actress and former TV presenter. Career Prior to acting, Shuha worked as a show presenter and host in several television programs from Ice TV. Mohamed Afrah (born 15 November 1971) is a Maldivian film actor and journalist. Career In 2019, he made his film career debut in Maldivian first sitcom ''Karu Hakuru'' developed by Mohamed Munthasir. His performance as the nosy neighbor and the series received positive reviews from critics. He next appeared in Ilyas Waheed's psychological thriller film '' Bavathi'' (2019), where he played the role of Zahir, a middle aged man who performs ruqyah on a disturbed couple.
