''Halli Rambhe Belli Bombe'' is a 1991 Indian Kannada-language romance film directed by M. S. Rajashekar, written by Panju Arunachalam based on his own 1988 Tamil film ''Manamagale Vaa'' and produced by M. P. Shankar. The film stars Malashri and Chi. Guru Dutt. The film had cinematography by V. K. Kannan and the dialogues and lyrics are written by Chi. Udaya Shankar who also enacted in a supporting role. Panju Arunachalam
Panchanathan Arunachalam (22 March 1941 – 9 August 2016) was an Indian writer, director, producer and lyricist who worked in Tamil cinema. He was mentored by poet Kannadasan who was his uncle. He also worked as a lyricist in the Tamil cinema industry. He started producing films under his production banner named P. A. Arts. His son Subbu Panchu Arunachalam is an actor and dubbing artist in the Tamil film industry. Sihi Kahi Chandru
Chandrashekar (born 1962 23 July), known by his stage name Sihi Kahi Chandru, which literally means "sweet and bitter" Chandru, is an Indian Kannada film and television actor. Career His wife ''Sihi Kahi Geetha'' and he were the main protagonists in an old Doordarshan Kannada serial titled ''Sihi Kahi'' which was televised every Friday at the 7.00-7.30 slot, between 1986-87. Those being initial days of Doordarshan, the show had a large viewership and the serial was extremely popular with the Kannada audience. It was a situation-comedy (sitcom) serial in which Chandru and Geetha enacted the role of a husband and wife. Their friendship blossomed into love and later they walked down the matrimony aisle in real life on 9 November 1990.
