The Hallands Fotbollförbund ''(Halland Football Association)'' is one of the 24 district organisations of the Swedish Football Association. It administers lower tier football in the historical province of Halland. Background Hallands Fotbollförbund, commonly referred to as Hallands FF, is the governing body for football in the historical province of Halland which corresponds with modern-day Halland County. The Association currently has 99 member clubs. Based in Halmstad, the Association's Chairman is Johan Johqvist. Kvibille BK is a Swedish football club located in Kvibille, in the county of Halland. The club, formed in 1940, play their home matches at Björkevi. The club came agonizingly close of being promoted to division 3 on two occasions, in recent years. During the 2013 season Kvibille BK finished 5th, just a couple of points short of 1st place. History repeated itself the following season. Kvibille BK finished 6th, with a small gap to 2nd place, which would have meant a possible promotion. Varbergs BoIS FC is a Swedish football club located in Varberg, the main town of Varberg Municipality in Halland County. Background The club was formed at a meeting in the Varbergs Folkets Hus on 25 March 1925. The backbone of the new club was a group of men from the Haga district of Varberg who had previously started a football club named Haga Bollklubb. Over the years several sports have been covered by the club but activities are now centred on football and wrestling. Background The club was founded as Ränneslövs Bollklubb in 1934, but it ceased to operate when the World War 2 broke out in 1939.
