Halkurd Mulla Mohammed
Halgurd Mulla Mohammed Taher Zebari ( ku, هەلگورد مەلا محەمەد تاهر زێبارى ; born 1 July 1988) is a former Iraqi football player of Kurdish ethnicity who last played as a left winger for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in Iraq. His older brother Hawar Mulla Mohammed is also a retired Iraqi national team player and former teammates at club level. Career Born in Mosul in March 1988, he started his playing career with local club Sulaymaniyah FC in 2004. With his brother an integral part of the Iraqi Olympic side and national senior team, Halkard thrived at club level, spending his first two years establishing his place as one of the nation's burgeoning stars. 2016 AFC Cup
The 2016 AFC Cup was the 13th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya defeated Bengaluru FC in the final to win their first AFC Cup title, becoming the first Iraqi team to win the competition. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. The 2013–14 Iraqi Premier League was the 40th season of the competition since its establishment in 1974. The name of the league was changed from ''Iraqi Elite League'' to ''Iraqi Premier League'', and the season began on 29 October 2013.
