Half Mile Harvest
''Half Mile Harvest'' is the debut studio album by Australian indie blues rock band The Teskey Brothers. The album was released on 12 January 2017 and peaked at number 18 on the ARIA Charts. A deluxe edition was released in October 2018, replacing the two cover songs on the standard track listing with two new original songs. Background and release Josh and Sam Teskey grew up in Warrandyte and met Brendon Love and Liam Gough and formed the Teskey Brothers in 2008. The Teskey Brothers have been performing around Melbourne since then. The album was recorded in Sam's studio space. In January 2017, the album was launched with a sold out Gasometer Hotel in Collingwood, which had a 150 capacity. Three months later, the group had sold out the 300-capacity Northcote Social Club and in May month they played four nights at the 800-capacity Corner Hotel in Richmond. The Teskey Brothers
The Teskey Brothers are an Australian blues rock band from Melbourne, named after the two brothers who formed the group in 2008: Josh Teskey (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Sam Teskey (lead guitar). In 2019 they signed with Glassnote Records and Ivy League Records. They have released two albums, '' Half Mile Harvest'' (2017) and '' Run Home Slow'' (2019). At the 2019 ARIA Music Awards, The Teskey Brothers were nominated for seven awards. "You've Got to Love Her with a Feeling", or "Love with a Feeling" as it was originally titled, is a blues song first recorded by Tampa Red in 1938. Numerous blues artists have interpreted and recorded the song, making it a blues standard. When Freddie King adapted it in 1961, it became his first single to appear in the record charts. Original song Tampa Red recorded "Love with a Feeling" as a mid-tempo twelve-bar blues. Accompanying Red, who sang and played slide guitar, were Black Bob Hudson on piano and an unknown bass player. Although Tampa Red wrote several bawdy blues, "Love with a Feeling" is tame, with only one verse suggesting the more colorful versions to come: Not long after recording "Love with a Feeling", other blues artists began recording their versions of the song. A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in.
