Hal Geer
Harold Eugene Geer (September 13, 1916 – January 26, 2017) was an American producer, filmmaker and animator, noteworthy for his association with the ''Looney Tunes'' franchise. Military career Prior to his career in the entertainment industry, Geer served as a Combat Cameraman with the 16th Combat Camera Unit, enlisting just two weeks after the Pearl Harbor attack. As a Sergeant he participated in several major projects, including the film documentary "China Crisis". He received a field commission to Lieutenant, and took part in 86 combat missions during World War II. He remained in the Army Reserves for 24 years, achieving the rank of Major. In addition to his flight duties, he also worked as a newsreel cameraman during the war, and his experience in this job helped him secure a position in the special effects department at Warner Bros. after the World War II ended on September 2, 1945. Oronogo, Missouri
Oronogo is a city in Jasper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 2,558 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Joplin, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Oronogo was platted in 1856. The name, according to local tradition, came about when it was found that the previous name, "Minersville" was already taken. At a public meeting to change the name, after considering many possibilities, a man in the back blurted out "its Ore or no go", referring to the mining operations. Elaborating on that, Colonel J. M. Young, suggested substituting the Spanish word "Oro" for ore, and the dropping the "or" to make the word euphonious. He pronounced it "Oronogo" and the audience accepted the name. ''Bugs Bunny's 3rd Movie: 1001 Rabbit Tales'' is a 1982 animated anthology comedy film directed by Friz Freleng with a compilation of Warner Bros. cartoon shorts (many of which have been abridged) and animated bridging sequences with Bugs Bunny as the story host. Plot Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck have to sell books for Rambling House. They go their separate ways and experience many wacky things. A centenarian is a person who has reached the age of 100 years. Because life expectancies worldwide are below 100 years, the term is invariably associated with longevity. In 2012, the United Nations estimated that there were 316,600 living centenarians worldwide. As world population and life expectancy continue to increase, the number of centenarians is expected to increase substantially in the 21st century. According to the UK ONS, one-third of babies born in 2013 in the UK are expected to live to 100.
