Hakkarigücü Spor
Hakkârigücü is a women's football club founded in 1989 and based in Hakkâri, eastern Turkey. The club plays their home matches in the Merzan Stadium. History The women's association football club Hakkârigücü Spor was founded by Cemile Timur, than a 20-year old local woman. A former athletics performer in her high school years, she later developed an interest for association football, and founded the first women's sport club in the city at Southeastern Anatolia Region with strong conservative feudal society after persuading some parents of girls coming from the villages of the province. The team was initially formed with eight girls only. After taking part in the 2007–08 Turkish Girls' Football Championship, the team was qualified the next season to play in Group 4 of the Turkish Women's Regional Football League. Cemile Timur
Cemile Timur (born 2 August 1988) is a Turkish former women's association football, women's footballer and referee (association football), referee, who currently serves as manager (association football), manager of Hakkarigücü Spor in the Turkish Women's First Football League. She founded the first women's club at her hometown in 2008. Early life Timur was born to Kurds, Kurdish parents in Hakkâri (city), Hakkâri, southeastern Turkey on 2 August 1988. She is the eldest daughter of a family with four children. She studied computer programming at Hakkâri Vocational School. Sports career Timur started taking part in athletics at the age of nine. Although she became successful at several competitive events, she had to retire from active athletics sport after seven years in 2007 due to lack of support. 2019–20 Turkish Women's First Football League
The 2019–20 season of the Turkish Women's First Football League is the 24th season of Turkey's premier women's association football, women's football league. The league season started with the first week matches on 20 October 2019, and the regular season will conclude with the 22nd week matches on 3 May 2020. The number of participating teams was increased from ten to twelve again after eight seasons. Trabzon İdmanocağı (women), Trabzon İdmanocağı was relegated after the previous season due to not show-up. The 2024–25 Turkish Women's Football Super League () is the 29th season of Turkey's top women's football league. A total of 14 teams, 12 from the 2023–24 Women's Super League season and two from the 2023–24 Turkish Women's Football First League season, compete in a round-robin format.
