Hakan Hayrettin
Hakan Hayrettin (born 4 February 1970) is an English football manager and former player who was most recently head coach of Maidstone United. Early life Hayrettin was born in Enfield, London to Turkish Cypriot parents. Playing career Hayrettin began his career as an apprentice with Leyton Orient, turning professional in July 1988. He was released without breaking into the first team, joining Barnet in August 1989. In 1990, he signed for Turkish side Karsiyaka, but his Turkish parentage would have made him eligible for national service, and the prospect of war with the situation deteriorating in the Gulf, so he resigned at Barnet who later won the Conference and with it promotion to the Football League. He joined Torquay United on loan in January 1993, also playing on loan for Wycombe Wanderers that season as they too won the Conference. He also played in their FA Trophy winning side. The 2012–13 season was the 98th season of the Isthmian League, which is an English Association football, football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from London, East of England, East and South East England. The constitution of the three divisions was announced on 25 May 2012. For this season, only two clubs were relegated from the Premier Division, and one from each Division One. This was to allow for expansion to 72 clubs for the 2013–14 season. The Isthmian League () is a regional men's football league covering Greater London, East and South East England, featuring mostly semi-professional clubs. Conference South
The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. Along with National League North, it is in the second level of the National League System, and is the sixth tier overall of the English football league system. The National League South was introduced in 2004 as part of a major restructuring of the National League System. Each year the champion of the league is automatically promoted to the National League. The Essex Senior Cup is a Single-elimination tournament, knock-out system football competition that has been running since 1884, and is the most prestigious cup competition in the county of Essex. The competition is run mainly for Non-League football, non-League clubs in the region, although league sides have been known to enter the competition, such as Colchester United F.C., Colchester United, Dagenham & Redbridge F.C., Dagenham & Redbridge, Leyton Orient F.C., Leyton Orient and Southend United F.C., Southend United. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system.
