Haissam Hussain
Haissam Hussain is a Pakistani television and film director known for directed a number of critically acclaimed television serials such as ''Noorpur Ki Rani'' (2009), ''Akbari Asghari'' (2011), ''Durr-e-Shehwar'' (2012) and ''Aunn Zara'' (2013). He made his cinematic debut by directing romantic-comedy ''Balu Mahi'' (2017). Hussain directed the period play '' Dastaan'' (2010) which earned him critical praise and several accolades including the Lux Style Award for Best television director. Personal life Hussain was born to a Muslim family in Lahore, Pakistan. He has studied at a handful of universities, including the Army Burn Hall College in 1992, Punjab University in 1996, West Herts College in 2002 and Middlesex University in 2006. ''Bin Roye'' (; ) is a 2015 Pakistani romantic drama film directed by Momina Duraid and Shahzad Kashmiri. The film is produced by Momina Duraid and stars Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan, Armeena Khan, Zeba Bakhtiar, Javed Sheikh and others. One of the movie songs is directed by Haissam Hussain. The Lux Style Awards is an award ceremony held annually in Pakistan since 2002. The 10th Lux Style Awards ceremony was held in Expo Center in Karachi, Pakistan. The show was hosted by Mahira Khan, Faizan Haque and from the members of BNN. ''Mutthi Bhar Mitti'' is a Pakistani Telefilm that premiered on Hum TV on 14 August 2008. The telefilm is directed by Haissam Hussain and written by novelist and screenplay writer Umera Ahmad. As a framing device, the main character, Jamaal played by Qavi Khan with narration by Umera Ahmad, in the year 2008 recounts to himself the events that led to him leaving India and migrating to Pakistan after The Great Indian Partition, which explains the title and allows for a narration in the past tense. ''Geo Entertainment HD'' or Geo Drama is a Pakistani entertainment television channel owned by Geo Television Network was established in May 2002. Its test transmission started on 14 August 2002 on the PAS 10 digital satellite whereas on 1 October 2002 the regular transmission of Geo Entertainment was started. History GEO has been one of the oldest Pakistani networks, and regularly has received good TRPs on various daily soaps, reality series, and drama serials since inception.
