Hainan Boying Football Club are a China League Two club. They are an association football club from Hainan. The Hainan Sport School Stadium is their home venue. History Hainan Seamen was founded in 2015 and are among the most successful amateur football clubs in the country. In the same year, they won their local league championship and finished up as runners-up in 2015 China Amateur Football League, gaining promotion to China League Two. Since 2016, they have been members of the China League Two. Also that year, they changed their name to Hainan Boying & Seamen. In January 2017, they changed their name again, to Hainan Boying. In Season 2018 it was ranked 16th, which was its best result but could not make it enter the elimination squad of the South District; the club was in financial difficulty and failed to find a new operator and was finally disqualified for the new season on 28 February 2019 for wage arrears. Guo Yijun (Chinese: 郭亿军; born 23 September 1963), also spelled as Guo Jijun, is a Chinese association football coach and a former defender or midfielder who represented his country with the senior national team, and with the national 1988 Summer Olympics selection. Management career After retiring from playing, Guo would soon move into management and joined his former club, Guangdong as their Assistant coach in the 1994 Chinese league season. China League One
The Chinese Football Association China League (), also known as China League One or Chinese Jia League (中甲联赛), is the second level of professional football in China. Above League One is the Chinese Super League. Prior to the formation of the Chinese Super League, Jia League was known as ''Jia B League''. The then top two levels of Chinese football league were known as ''Jia A League'' and ''Jia B League'' respectively. ''Jia A'' was rebranded as CSL and ''Jia B'' was rebranded as the current Jia League in 2004. Below the Jia League is the Yi League, following the Chinese Heavenly Stems naming convention of numbers. The Chinese Football Association Super League, commonly known as Chinese Super League or CSL, currently known as the China Ping An Chinese Football Association Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier of professional football in China, operating under the auspices of the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The league was established in 2004 by the rebranding of the former top division, Chinese Jia-A League. Initially contested by 12 teams in its inaugural year, the league has since expanded, with 18 teams competing in the 2022 season. Haikou
Haikou (; ), also spelled as Hoikow is the capital and most populous city of the Chinese province of Hainan. Haikou city is situated on the northern coast of Hainan, by the mouth of the Nandu River.
