Haijiao
Haijiao (海礁), also known as Tong Island (童岛), Taibujiao (泰簿礁) or Taijiao (泰礁), is located at 30°44'6"N, 123°9'24"E in the northeast corner of the Zhoushan Islands and belongs to Shengsi County of Zhoushan Zhoushan , formerly romanized as Chusan, is an urbanized archipelago with the administrative status of a prefecture-level city in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang. The name Haijiao literally means 'the ocean reef', and its generally accepted cartographic name of Taijiao literally means 'the extreme reef', a reference to its isolated position on the edge of China's maritime territory. Baselines Of The Chinese Territorial Sea
China declared its baselines for its maritime territory on 15 May 1996. The baselines were for the Chinese mainland and also for the Paracel (Xisha) Islands. The baselines for the mainland consist of a series of straight lines linking 49 basepoints situated on the outer edge along and outer islands off the coast of China. For the Paracel Islands, the baselines consist of a series of straight lines linking 28 basepoints located on the outer islands of the group. Sheshandao
Sheshan Island () is located east of Chongming Island, in the estuary of the Yangtze River. The area is . The island is under the jurisdiction of the Shanghai Municipal Region and is guarded by the People's Liberation Army Navy. A 130-year-old lighthouse is located on the island. Shengsi County
Shengsi County is a CPRC, county in the northeast of Zhejiang province consisting of an archipelago islands located to the east of Hangzhou Bay. It is under the administration of Zhoushan City and is the easternmost county-level division in the province. The islands of Greater Yangshan, Greater and Lesser Yangshan are connected with Shanghai's Pudong New Area by the Donghai Bridge and Yangshan Port, their port forms part of the Port of Shanghai. They are, however, not counted among the islands of Shanghai. The county consists of 630 islands and islets, of which 13 have more than 100 inhabitants. Suyanjiao
Socotra Rock, also known as Ieodo () or Suyan Islet (), is a submerged rock below sea level (at low tide) located in the Yellow Sea. International maritime law stipulates that a submerged rock outside of a country's territorial sea (generally 12 nautical miles) cannot be claimed as territory by any country. However, the rock is the subject of a maritime dispute between China and South Korea, which consider it to lie within their respective exclusive economic zones. The rock is located southwest of Marado (just off Jeju Island) in Korea. Yushan Island of Zhejiang, China, is away from the rock. The rock serves as the foundation for Korean Ieodo Ocean Research Station. A Korean helipad is also located there to allow the research station to be serviced.
