Haidar Ali, also credited as ''Hyder Ali'' and ''Haider Ali'', is an Indian film and television actor and screenwriter. He acted in an early Doordarshan TV Serial ''Nukkad'' (1986–87) as Raja. Later, Haidar Ali wrote the story of Ashutosh Gowarikar's historic film, ''Jodhaa Akbar'' (2008). He also had a cameo in the movie song '' Khwaja Mere Khwaja''. Personal life Haidar Ali is the youngest son of actress and model Pramila (Esther Victoria Abraham) and actor Kumar (real name Syed Hasan Ali Zaidi, who appeared in ''Mughal-e-Azam'', ''Shri 420'', and '' Watan''). Haider Ali (born 12 November 1979) is a Pakistani retired professional boxer who fought in the featherweight division. He is a Commonwealth Games gold medalist and an Olympian. Early life and amateur career Haider started boxing at an early age, having decided to become a boxer after watching fellow countryman Hussain Shah win a bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Haider became the National Champion in 1998 whist winning gold medals in the Green Hill International Boxing Tournament held at Karachi in 1998 and the Imam Khomeini International Boxing Tournament held in Iran in 1999. Haider Ali (born 12 December 1984 in Gujranwala) is an all-around Pakistani para-athlete who created history at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China by winning Pakistan's first ever Paralympic games medal, a silver. He also shared a new world record with his jump of 6.44 meters at the Games. He has competed at the Paralympics on four occasions in 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020. Haider Ali is a Pakistani painter best known for his work as a truck artist. Around the world, he has painted murals, structures, benches, and trucks in the distinctive truck art style of Pakistan. He first gained international attention in 2002 when he worked on the first authentic Pakistani truck in North America for the Smithsonian and has since exhibited at museums and institutions globally. Hyder Ali ( حیدر علی, ''Haidarālī''; 1720 – 7 December 1782) was the Sultan and ''de facto'' ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore in southern India.
