Habul Chakraborty (1 February 1960 – 16 February 2020) was an Indian businessman and politician from Assam belonging to Indian National Congress. He was a legislator of the Assam Legislative Assembly. The Assam Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of Assam. Ashok Singhal (born 29 December 1968, Guwahati, Assam) is an Indian politician of Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh and the current Minister oHousing & Urban Affairs and Irrigation Government of Assam. He is also the Guardian Minister of three districts of Assam, namely Kokrajhar, Udalguri and Cachar.
