Bruce Haack
Bruce Clinton Haack (May 4, 1931 – September 26, 1988) was a Canadian musician and composer in the field of electronic music. Biography From Alberta to New York (1931-1963) Demonstrating an early ability for music, Bruce Haack is said to have started picking out melodies on his family's piano at age four, and progressing to providing piano lessons for others by age 12. While attending college in Edmonton, Canada, at the University of Alberta, Haack began performing in local venues with a then-popular local band called The Swing Tones. While the band played primarily modern and old-time music, they also performed Ukrainian Folk music, which introduced Haack to Eastern musical motifs and themes. This exposure would prove to have a significant influence on Haack's work later in life. Prior to leaving Alberta to move to New York City, Haack assembled a large record collection of music from many parts of the world. Susan Haack
Susan Haack (born 1945) is a distinguished professor in the humanities, Cooper Senior Scholar in Arts and Sciences, professor of philosophy, and professor of law at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Haack has written on logic, the philosophy of language, epistemology, and metaphysics. Her pragmatism follows that of Charles Sanders Peirce. Career Education Haack is a graduate of the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge (B.A., B.Phil, Oxford; Ph.D., Cambridge). She was elected into Phi Beta Kappa as an honorary member. Wolfgang Siegfried Haack (24 April 1902 – 28 November 1994) was a Germans, German mathematician and aerodynamicist. He in 1941 and William R. Sears, William Sears in 1947 independently discovered the Sears–Haack body. Life Wolfgang Haack studied mechanical engineering at the Leibniz University Hannover and mathematics in Jena. He earned his doctorate in 1926 at the University of Jena, Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. After a short study and research period in Hamburg and a job as an assistant at the Technical University of Stuttgart he habilitation, habilitated in 1929 at the Gdańsk University of Technology, TH Danzig (now Gdańsk). In 1935 he moved to the Berlin Institute of Technology, TH Berlin and in 1937, he followed the call to the TH Karlsruhe. During the Second World War he worked on projectile design. Matthew Scott Haack (born July 25, 1994) is an American football punter for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona State. He played his first four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2017. Haack later spent one season with the Buffalo Bills before joining the Colts in 2022. Käthe Haack (born Käte Lisbeth Minna Sophie Isolde Haack; 11 August 1897 – 5 May 1986) was a German stage and film actress. She appeared in more than 200 films and 30 television productions between 1915 and 1985. Life and career Käte Lisbeth Minna Sophie Isolde Haack was born in Berlin on 11 August 1897.
