HaMifratz Central Railway Station
HaMifratz Central railway station ( he, תחנת הרכבת מרכזית המפרץ, ''Taḥanat HaRakevet Merkazit HaMifratz'') is an Israeli railway passenger station in Haifa, Israel co-located with the Haifa Bay central bus station. It serves Lev HaMifratz Mall ( he, קניון לב המפרץ, ''Heart of the Bay Mall''), one of Haifa's largest malls, and the surrounding Haifa Bay industrial zone in the northeast of the city. Location The station is situated on the north–south coastal railway and the Jezreel Valley railway and is located in the southern part of the Haifa-Bay industrial zone. The station is one of two railway stations serving this district (the other being Hutzot HaMifratz railway station), although it is much larger in terms of passenger numbers and trains serving it. Haifa ( he, חֵיפָה ' ; ar, حَيْفَا ') is the third-largest city in Israel—after Jerusalem and Tel Aviv—with a population of in . Be'er Sheva Central Railway Station
Be'er Sheva Center railway station is an Israel Railways terminal in Beersheba. It is located on Yitzhak Ben Zvi street next to the city's central bus station and HaNegev Mall. It is one of two railway stations serving the city, the other being Be'er Sheva North, located near the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Design The station building is located in the north end of the platforms. As of 2021, the station consists of three platforms (two side platforms and an island platform) serving a total of four tracks. Construction works are expected to be completed in 2022 that will convert the eastern side platform to an island platform which will serve a fifth track at the station. The works will also add an additional public entrance to the station from the southeast. Space also exists to add an additional passenger platform on the western side of the station in the future. The Metronit ( he, מטרונית Arabic: مترونيت), also spelled Matronit, is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system in Haifa, Israel. One Metronit line, the Red Line, operates during the weekend, or Sabbath, i.e. on Friday and Saturday, which is almost unique in Israel - as of 2022, only in a handful of cities in Israel, Haifa among them, do public buses also offer service on Sabbath, mainly because they have a mixed population of Jews and non-Jews (Israeli Arabs). Yokneam–Kfar Yehoshua railway station ( he, תחנת הרכבת יקנעם-כפר יהושע) is an Israel Railways passenger station situated on the Jezreel Valley railway. The station serves Yokneam Illit, Kiryat Tiv'on, Ramat Yishai and the surrounding area. The station is located between Yokneam and Kfar Yehoshua, east of Highway 70 and south of Highway 722. It is served by one to two trains per hour in each direction. The new station The Yokneam–Kfar Yehoshua railway station was built as part of the New Jezreel Valley railway, next to the Tishbi junction. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks).
