Hevrat HaHadashot ( he, חברת החדשות, lit=The News Company) is one of the three major brands of Israeli television news programmes. Produced for Keshet 12 by Keshet Media Group subsidiary Israel Television News Company ( he, חברת החדשות הישראלית בע"מ, translit=Hevrat HaHadashot HaYisra'elit Ba'am, lit=Israeli News Company Ltd.), HaHadashot 12 ( he, החדשות 12, lit= hannel'' 12 News). Its flagship evening news bulletin is broadcast at 8:00 p.m. IST, and anchored primarily by Yonit Levi and Danny Kushmaro. Eilon () is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located a mile south of Blue Line (Lebanon), Lebanese border and six miles east of the Mediterranean Sea, Mediterranean coast, the kibbutz sits on a ridge between two streams, Nahal Betzet and Nahal Kziv and falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Asher Regional Council. Channel 13 ( he, ערוץ 13), formally known as Reshet 13 ( he, רשת 13), is an Israeli free-to-air television channel owned by RGE Media Group and Reshet. It was launched on 1 November 2017 as one of two replacements of the outgoing Channel 2. Channel 13 also known as Nana 13 and Reshet 13 and broadcasting in Hebrew. History Israel's Channel 2 was operated by the Second Authority for Television and Radio, but was programmed by two rotating companies, Keshet Media Group and Reshet. As part of a larger series of reforms to Israel's broadcast system to increase diversity and competition, Channel 2 was shut down, and both broadcasters were granted their own, separate channels. The assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the fifth prime minister of Israel, took place on 4 November 1995 (12 Marcheshvan 5756 on the Hebrew calendar) at 21:30, at the end of a rally in support of the Oslo Accords at the Kings of Israel Square in Tel Aviv. Yitzhak Rabin
Yitzhak Rabin (; he, יִצְחָק רַבִּין, ; 1 March 1922 – 4 November 1995) was an Israeli politician, statesman and general. He was the fifth Prime Minister of Israel, serving two terms in office, 1974–77, and from 1992 until his assassination in 1995. Rabin was born in Jerusalem to Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe and was raised in a Labor Zionist household. He learned agriculture in school and excelled as a student. He led a 27-year career as a soldier and ultimately attained the rank of Rav Aluf. As a teenager he joined the Palmach, the commando force of the Yishuv. Oshrat Kotler (Hebrew: אושרת קוטלר; born 25 July 1965) is an Israeli journalist, television news presenter and author. Biography Kotler, born Levi, comes from a Sephardi family from Bulgaria which spoke Ladino. She has written several books about her heritage. Gideon Moshe Sa'ar ( he, גִּדְעוֹן סַעַר; born 9 December 1966) is an Israeli politician who has served as Minister of Justice since June 2021. Miki Haimovich ( ; born 15 June 1962) is an Israeli television presenter and former politician. She served as a member of the Knesset for Blue and White from 2019 to 2021. Biography Michal (Miki) Haimovich earned a BA in political science from Tel Aviv University. Haimovich is vegan and in 2012 she launched the Meatless Monday Israel initiative. Romema ( he, רוממה, ''lit.'' Uplifted) is a neighbourhood in northwest Jerusalem, just off the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem highway at the main entrance to the city. It occupies the highest hill in Jerusalem. Ya'akov Eilon ( he, יעקב אילון, born 3 May 1961), Jacob Eilon, is an Israeli television presenter and journalist. Alongside Miki Haimovich, he was the anchor of Channel 2 (Israel), Channel 2's ''HaHadashot 12, HaHadashot 2'' and Channel 10 (Israel), Channel 10's ''HaHadashot 13, Hadashot 10'' news bulletins.
