The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation or HIDCO is a public sector undertaking headquartered in Narkelbagan, Action Area - I of New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It plans and executes buildings, projects, parks, museum and other construction activity like subways, overbridges and Monorail from Ultadanga to New Town via Salt Lake in the Indian state of West Bengal. It looks after development projects in New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal and adjacent parts of Rajarhat ( Rajarhat-Gopalpur (M) and Rajarhat CD Block) also. HIDCO has prepared the LUDCP and it is developing all infrastructure like roads, drains, sewerage line, water supply lines, major beautification works and other related major works as per master plan. New Town is a planned satellite city of Kolkata, India. It comes under North 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is close to Kolkata and covered by New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA). New Town Eco Park
Eco Park (or Prakriti Tirtha) is an urban park in New Town, Kolkata, New Town, Kolkata Metropolitan Area, Greater Kolkata, India. The park is situated on a plot and is surrounded by a waterbody with an island in the middle. The park was conceptualised by Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee in July 2011. West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO) is the overarching body coordinating the construction of the park, along with different other government bodies responsible for implementation of different works inside the park. Nazrul Tirtha
Nazrul Tirtha (''Nazrul Pilgrimage'') is a cultural center, cultural and educational center dedicated to the rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. The center is situated in Action Area - I of New Town, Kolkata. It is only 2.50 kilometers away from Rabindra Tirtha. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the center on 24 May 2014 to mark the occasion of the 115th birth anniversary of the poet. KMOMA
Kolkata Museum of Modern Art (KMOMA) is a proposed art museum to be built in New Town, Kolkata. The KMOMA had been estimated to cost about Rs 500 crore and is set to be built on a 10-acre plot in the nearby township of New Town by the state government, is designed by acclaimed Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, who created the Bird's Nest stadium for the Beijing Olympics. Bidhannagar is a planned urban agglomeration and city and a municipal corporation of the North 24 Parganas in the Indian state of West Bengal.
