Buskerud and Vestfold University College ( no, Høgskolen i Buskerud og Vestfold, HBV) was a regional university college with campuses in Drammen, Kongsberg, Hønefoss and Horten in the counties of Vestfold og Telemark and Viken, Norway. It was created as a merger of Buskerud University College and Vestfold University College on 1 January 2014. Hamengkubuwono V
Hamengkubuwono V (also spelled Hamengkubuwana V, Yogyakarta, 24 January 1820 – Yogyakarta, 5 June 1855) was the fifth Sultan of Yogyakarta, reigning from 19 December 1823, to 17 August 1826, and then from 17 January 1828, to 5 June 1855 being interspersed by the rule of Hamengkubuwono II due to the then political instability. Reign Born as Gusti Raden Mas Gathot Menol, he was the 6th son of Hamengkubuwono IV and his queen consort, Gusti Kangjeng Ratu Kencono. When he was 3 years old, he was crowned as Hamengkubuwono V, and ruled for 2.5 years before being succeeded by his great-grandfather, Hamengkubuwono II. The HBV hydrology model, or Hydrologiska Byråns Vattenbalansavdelning model, is a computer simulation used to analyze river discharge (hydrology), discharge and water pollution. Hepatitis B Vaccine
Hepatitis B vaccine is a vaccine that prevents hepatitis B. The first dose is recommended within 24 hours of birth with either two or three more doses given after that. This includes those with poor immune function such as from HIV/AIDS and those born premature. It is also recommended that health-care workers be vaccinated. In healthy people routine immunization results in more than 95% of people being protected. Blood testing to verify that the vaccine has worked is recommended in those at high risk. Additional doses may be needed in people with poor immune function but are not necessary for most people. In those who have been exposed to the hepatitis B virus (HBV) but not immunized, hepatitis B immune globulin should be given in addition to the vaccine. Heterostructure Barrier Varactor
The heterostructure barrier varactor (HBV) is a semiconductor device which shows a variable capacitance with voltage bias, similar to a varactor diode. Unlike a diode, it has an anti-symmetric current-voltage relationship and a symmetric capacitance-voltage relationship, as shown in the graph to the right. The device was invented by Erik Kollberg together with Anders Rydberg in 1989 at Chalmers University of Technology. The inset of the figure shows the circuit schematic symbol of the HBV.
