Bob Haak (American Football)
Robert Ally Haak (March 26, 1916 – November 1, 1992) was an American football player. Early life Haak graduated from Hammond High School in Hammond, Indiana where he was a two-time state champion heavy-weight wrestler and an all-conference tackle. He went on to Indiana University where he was a member of the football team, wrestling team, and Sigma Pi fraternity. In 1937, he placed third in the Unlimited division at the NCAA Wrestling championships. During his senior year at Indiana he was named to the all-Big Ten team and played in the 1939 Blue–Gray Football Classic All-Star game. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Pro career Haak was drafted in the second round of the 1939 NFL Draft. He played Guard and Tackle for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1939. Bob Haak (22 January 1926 – 15 May 2005) was a Dutch art expert known mostly as one of the founders of the Rembrandt Research Project. From 1954-1963 he worked in the department of paintings at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. Howie Haak
Howard Frederick Haak (August 28, 1911 — February 22, 1999; ; rhymes with "take") was an American professional baseball scout for almost 50 years, from the end of World War II through his 1993 retirement. Personal life Haak was born in Rochester, New York, in 1911, the son of Chester Arthur Haak and Wanda Alice (née Ruddy). He graduated from Madison Junior High and Rochester West High School. Hugo Haak (born 29 October 1991) is a Dutch track cyclist and revered coach. He represented his nation at the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Isabelle Haak (born 11 July 1999) is a Swedish volleyball player, who plays as an opposite for the Italian club Imoco Volley Conegliano and the Swedish national team. Jurriaan Haak ( – ) was a Dutch footballer. He was part of the Netherlands national team, playing two matches and scoring two goals. He played his first match on 17 November 1912. He had been a reserve on the national team in the 1908 Olympics in London but did not play. Haak moved with his family from Java to Haarlem in 1904. Like his brothers Jan Haak and Albert Haak he played football for HFC Haarlem. He was also an athlete, and in September 1916 he broke the Dutch record high jump by 10 cm (from 1.69 m to 1.79 m). After his football career he taught mathematics and physics in the Dutch East Indies and later at the Amsterdams Lyceum and was a co-founder of the Montessori Lyceum Amsterdam in 1929.
