Gérald Passi (born 21 January 1964) is a French former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Personal life Passi was born in Albi, Tarn. He comes from a family of footballers. His father, Camille, was a Congolese former footballer, and coach in his later career. His brother, Franck, was also a professional footballer. His nephew, Bryan, is a professional footballer who has also played for Montpellier. Albi
Albi (; oc, Albi ) is a commune in southern France. It is the prefecture of the Tarn department, on the river Tarn, 85 km northeast of Toulouse. Its inhabitants are called ''Albigensians'' (french: Albigeois, Albigeoise(s), oc, albigés -esa(s)). It is the seat of the Archbishop of Albi. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Between 1917 and 1919, the competition was called the Coupe Charles Simon, in tribute of Charles Simon, a French sportsman and the founder of the French Interfederal Committee (the ancestor of the French Football Federation), who died in 1915 while serving in World War I.
