Gábor Bori
Gábor Bori (born 16 January 1984) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays for Usc Pilgersdorf. He was seen as a player with a very bright future in Hungary. Club career Bori was born in Szombathely, Hungary. He was given a trial by Leicester City manager Ian Holloway on 17 December 2007, and he signed a loan deal on 8 January 2008 until the end of the season, linking up with compatriot Zsolt Laczkó, who arrived four days earlier. Part of his motivation for joining Leicester was Hungarian goalkeeper Márton Fülöp, who before being recalled to his parent club, helped him "a lot" during his trial period. Issued the number 34 shirt, both he and Laczkó were keen to earn permanent deals to stay at the club. Bori made his debut against Coventry City at the Walkers Stadium on 12 January, making four crosses and five shots in a 2–0 victory. Bertalan Bicskei (17 September 1944 – 16 July 2011) was a Hungarian football goalkeeper and manager. Playing career As a youth player, he played for the most famous Hungarian club side, Ferencváros, and he also honed his skills in Honved and MTK Budapest, both Premier Division Hungarian sides. As a goalkeeper of great talent, he played many games for the Hungary National Youth Team, as well as the 13 and Senior National Team. After his playing days were over, he devoted much of his time to coaching and teaching young soccer players on the highest level. Managerial career From 1977 to 1982, he worked as the coaching director for the MTK Budapest's youth programme, and from 1982 to 1986 he was the Youth Coach Director for the Hungary national team. Márton Fülöp
Márton Fülöp (; 3 May 1983 – 12 November 2015) was a Hungarian professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. After playing in Hungary for MTK Budapest, BKV Előre SC and BFC Siófok, he signed for English club Tottenham Hotspur, who loaned him to Chesterfield and Coventry, then to Sunderland with whom he permanently signed in 2007. Further loans to Leicester City, Stoke City and Manchester City ended with a transfer to Ipswich Town. He ended his career with spells at West Bromwich Albion and Greece's Asteras Tripolis. Fülöp also represented his country at under-21 and full international level, earning 24 senior caps from his debut in 2005. He died in 2015 after a battle with cancer. Zsolt Laczkó (born 18 December 1986) is a Hungarian former professional footballer who last played as a left wing back or winger for III. Kerületi TVE. Club career Ferencváros Zsolt Laczkó was born in Szeged, Hungary. He debuted in the Hungarian National Championship I in 2004. He played for Ferencvárosi TC 44 matches and scored 12 goals. Olympiacos Laczkó was a free agent and joined Olympiacos's pre-season training. Laczkó was given a trial period in which he played in two friendlies – one of which he scored in – and impressed Olympiacos coach Takis Lemonis enough to be rewarded with a contract with the club. Ian Holloway
Ian Scott Holloway (born 12 March 1963) is an English professional football manager, former player, media personality and television pundit who was most recently the manager of Grimsby Town. A midfielder, he notably played in the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers where he made just under 150 league appearances in a five-year spell. He spent most of his career at boyhood club Bristol Rovers where he had three spells which included the start and finish of his playing career. He was part of the Wimbledon team that won promotion to the top flight in 1986, a place they would remain for the next fourteen seasons.
