GRAI Method
The GRAI method, GRAI is short for Graphs with Results and Actions Inter-related, and the further developed GRAI Integrated Methodology (GIM) is a modeling method of Enterprise modelling. The GRAI method was first proposed by Guy Doumeingts in his 1984 PhD thesis, entitled ''La Méthode GRAI'', further developed at the GRAI/LAP (Laboratory of Automation and Productics) of University Bordeaux I, and followed by GRAI/GIM by Doumeingts and others in 1992. The GRAI method can represent and analyze the operation of all or part of a production activity. The strength of the GRAI method lies in its ability to provide modelers can effectively model the decision-making system of the company, i.e. organizational processes that generate decisions. In the GRAI methodology four types of views had been incorporated: the functional view, physical view, decisional view and informational systems view.Aguilar-Saven, Ruth Sara.Business process modelling: Review and framework" ''International Jo ...

Enterprise Modelling
Enterprise modelling is the abstract representation, description and definition of the structure, processes, information and resources of an identifiable business, government body, or other large organization. It deals with the process of understanding an organization and improving its performance through creation and analysis of enterprise models. This includes the modelling of the relevant business domain (usually relatively stable), business processes (usually more volatile), and uses of information technology within the business domain and its processes. Overview Enterprise modelling is the process of building models of whole or part of an enterprise with process models, data models, resource models and/or new ontologies etc. It is based on knowledge about the enterprise, previous models and/or reference models as well as domain ontologies using model representation languages. INTEROP-VLab
The INTEROP V-Lab (''International Virtual Laboratory for Enterprise Interoperability'') is a network of organizations, which links scientists, research centers, representatives of industry, and small and medium-sized enterprises. The members come from several European countries as well as China and represent 250 scientists and 70 organizations. INTEROP-VLab was founded in 2007 and is the continuation of the INTEROP Network of Excellence (Interoperability research for networked enterprise applications and software), a research initiative of the European Union founded early 2000s, which developed the Model Driven Interoperability (MDI) Framework. In 2012 Guy Doumeingts was appointed general manager of INTEROP-VLab. Overview INTEROP-VLab is an initiative that is working within the context of interoperability Interoperability is a characteristic of a product or system to work with other products or systems. Enterprise Interoperability
Enterprise interoperability is the ability of an enterprise—a company or other large organization—to functionally link activities, such as product design, supply chains, manufacturing, in an efficient and competitive way. The research in interoperability of enterprise practised in is various domains itself ( enterprise modelling, ontologies, information systems An information system (IS) is a formal, sociotechnical, organizational system designed to collect, process, store, and distribute information. From a sociotechnical perspective, information systems are composed by four components: task, people ..., architectures and platforms) which it is a question of positioning. Enterprise interoperability topics Interoperability in enterprise architecture Enterprise architecture (EA) presents a high level design of enterprise capabilities that defines successful IT projects in coherence with enterprise principles and business related requirements.
